If you are in the mood for a delicious and authentic Japanese sweet, mochi, matcha cake, or jelly desserts, stop at this wonderful patisserie right by Rockefeller Center. The displays are stunning, the selections delightful. I especially loved the chestnut sweets, as this flavor is so unique and not often offered. There are many wonderful gift options, and there is a beautiful display of original Japanese dolls and paper decorations. Such a delight.

Good tasty premium japanese snacks! Used to be my goto spot for valentine’s day when it was in oculus in nyc. Good gift option imo.

K. Minamoto is a dessert shop specializing in small Japanese sweets and mochi.

The staff were friendly, though it was a bit confusing about which ones were available as a single sweet or came in a box.

We decided to try a mochi box, though it was a bit expensive for just 6 pieces. The mochi was a bit overly sweet, but did have a good taste and had a good quality to it. Overall, it would be good as a gift for someone, but not for everyday buys.

I always wanted to try these and finally did. And now wish I hadn’t. The mochi was divine. It is so good that now every time I go there I will be tempted to buy more! The woman at the counter was friendly even though I only bought one mochi to try the first time. The quality is quite good. And given the sweetness I didn’t not feel a sugar crash at all.

Typical high-end Japanese sweets store. It is located inside the Mitsuwa Supermarket. It has unique pastries, candies and sweets.
It is not cheap, but good quality.
Perfect for gifts
