The service was great and the owner personally greeted us. The food was cooked fresh. It wasn’t greasy. The side dishes are kind of small, but I was informed that you could get different sized portions. The food was pretty good though. The atmosphere is nice. It isn’t anything fancy, but still relaxing and clean. I consider it a family oriented restaurant. The restrooms are small, but clean. Our server was April she was amazing! The girl and the young man at the counter were nice and friendly. We will visit this location again. We really enjoyed our visit.

Wow. This place was great. Great service. Great food. Great atmosphere. One of the men cooking in the back even cane out to ask if everything was good. If you are looking for some authentic southern seafood, this is it. Everything came out quick and hot! Very impressed. (Really recommend the gumbo *fair warning thought its got some kick*, fried catfish, and fried okra. They’re great.)

LET’S EAT SOME FISH!!! I brought my parents over here the other day. We love the seafood here. My parents ordered the catfish sandwich. It’s served with fries bread and lightly breaded catfish. They both love it. I ate the specialty salad with Flounder. They grilled the Flounder with their seasoning. It was a little spicy. I was able to finish my meal before my mouth and tongue felt the HEAT!

The atmosphere is nice. The music and service are good. The restrooms are fine. There are TVs for entertainment and serve alcohol. What more can you ask for? This place deserves at keadt one vist. I’m sure you like it.

This place is a hidden gem! It’s tucked away in a plaza on Valley Hi with a modest storefront, but the inside is vibrant and welcoming! The food is delicious and the portions are so generous. Everything we ordered came out quickly, crisp and piping hot, and well seasoned. Worth a visit!

Poor management. I called in an order for a 20 pc catfish. When I picked it up, I asked for lemon and napkins. Once I get back to the office, NOT a single lemon wedge or napkin was in my bags. I called and spoke with a manager and all she had to say was that they would double check next time and hung up. Worst $43 spent on greasy, soggy fish and fries. The fish breading was flaking off and oozing dark grease. Manager didn’t offer anything. A sincere apology would have gone a long way. I will not be going back to this place where I am not valued as a customer.

Under new management! OMG! This place is special! The ambiance/decor of this gem reminded me of an episode of Restaurant Impossible, the before and after. They now have a new full bar, stage for music (DJ today), and nice decor. I was greeted immediately. The staff was awesome, the service amazing, and I was asked by the owners and staff members if I needed anything. I only went there because my sister went there this week and told me I should try it again. I went there several times before the new owners took over. My server was great.

I was feeling a little under the weather so I wasn’t very hungry. My sister told me they loved the gumbo so that’s what I had. It was pretty awesome, but spicier than I expected, which is fine by me because the spicier the better as far as I’m concerned. So I ordered a cornbread to offset the heat. The cornbread was moist and just sweet enough. I loved it. The owner asked if I needed anything and I commented on how good the cornbread was. He said his wife makes it.

They’re having a grand reopening on the 27th with free tasting, free champagne, and drink specials. On the 28th is Soul Food Sunday with $4 mimosas and bloody mary’s. I will definitely return for the grand reopening.

I live nearby so I’ve ordered to go from here off and on the past 2 years and never had a bad experience until today. We ordered 3 orders and all the fried fish and fries were DRENCHED in oil and soggy. I’ve ordered in the past and the fries and fish were amazing and crispy so I’m hoping today was just an off day but for what we paid, I will not be giving it another try. I ended up trying to put my fish fillet in my air fryer to see if it gave it some sort of crunchiness but nope. It had way too much oil to be salvageable. Completely disappointed and won’t be ordering again.

This place was not what I expected. It was way better than I imagined everything we ordered was delicious , I usually take pictures of my food before I eat , let’s just say I didn’t get the opportunity to do so this time , but I will most definitely do so on my next visit. SOUL FOOD SUNDAY CALLING MY NAME ……
