K-Town BBQ in Saugus is easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a while. The vibe is energetic and welcoming, and the servers really know what they’re doing.
Our server Jamie was amazing. She was always checking in on our table, knew exactly when to step in, and made sure everything was taken care of without ever feeling overbearing. She honestly made the experience even better.
What really sets this place apart is how they treat you like family. Everyone is friendly, joking around, and making sure you’re having a great time. Great food, top-notch service, and an atmosphere that makes you want to come back. I’ll definitely be returning!

Jessie is a great server! It was VERY busy but she still took the time to make sure she was paying attention to us! I was a server myself so i realize how much it takes to pay attention, but they make you feel like family! They are a great team and ill always recommend ktown to everyone that wants good Korean bbq! Great restaurant!!!!! Only thing i woukd say is that the boss seems a little lazy 🙂

⭐ 1 Star — Extremely Disappointing Experience
This was one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had.
From the moment we sat down, it was obvious my group was unfamiliar with this style of restaurant. Instead of guiding us, the server was impatient and rude. When we hesitated between à la carte and the set menu, because we truly didn’t know the difference, she became visibly frustrated, snatched the menu off the table, crumpled it, and walked away.
Ventilation was another huge issue. The smoke from the grill was so overwhelming that our eyes were burning, and our clothes reeked of smoke by the time we left. A restaurant like this should never open without proper ventilation.
We asked for vegetables, and the server listed: “lettuce, onions, and… zucchini,” after a long pause. We ordered a small salad, which arrived in a tiny bowl covered in saran wrap. She tossed a fork on top and set the dressing down, oddly enough, we got dressing for the salad but no sauces, salt, or pepper for the rice, meat and shrimp earlier.
When we removed the saran wrap, the salad was spoiled. At the end of the meal, the server acted as though she did us a favor, saying, “Good thing I didn’t charge you for it.”
That comment summed up the entire visit, careless, dismissive, and completely lacking hospitality.
I’ve never had such a disappointing restaurant experience and hope never to repeat it. I will not be returning.

Great food, definitely recommend the octopus and marinated short rib. Super yummy and perfect for anyone who hasn’t tried Kbbq before. It is slightly pricy, roughly $50 per person, but If you love eating meat and the atmosphere it definitely makes up for it.

We went to K BBQ with my family for dinner and really enjoyed everything. There were plenty of healthy options, a clean and fresh salad bar, and flavorful meats. Everything was delicious, and the waiters were amazing and very attentive. We will definitely be coming back!

They updated the menu recently to lower the price and offer more options. The meat quality is still good and the chicken wings are amazing. We actually loved chicken wings more than BBQ meat. They also have abalone now! Though it’s not the best seafoods to cook on grill, it’s still a good option.

I was very disappointed with my experience here today. First, they charged my 9-year-old the full adult price, justifying it by “height rather than age,” yet they never actually measured him. This is not standard practice for AYCE BBQ. The facility itself was uncomfortable; there are no venting pipes, and the smoke irritated my eyes throughout the meal. The grill had uneven heating (only a small hot spot in the center), which caused the meat to burn and create even more smoke. Despite visiting at 3:00 PM when it wasn’t busy, the service was inattentive—we had to wave and shout just to get the grill oiled. To top it off, the meat quality was poor with too much gristle, and the floors were sticky. We will not be returning.
