Unfortunately I cannot leave 0 stars so I will settle with 1 star. I absolutely awful experience. I’m an avid tequila lover and know my drinks. After waiting 10 minutes to be seated, my family and I (4 of us) finally got seated and were brought 3 bowls for salsa. No big deal, things happen. The young lady took our drink order. Here’s where things went south. I ordered a shot of Clase Azul for my drink. About 5 minutes later, the manager came over and said, “what did you want to drink? Your server didn’t understand.” So I repeated it to him. His look was dumbfounded, so I went to the bar with him and pointed to the big blue and white vase looking bottle that they have dead center the bar. He acknowledged, I went back to my seat. A few moments later he came to the table and sat down a clear tequila and a lime and rushed away. I stopped him and asked what it was because it clearly wasn’t what I ordered. He then admitted that it was don julio blanco (not sure it was even that) and not the Clase Azul reposado I ordered. The point is, the attempted dishonesty was unacceptable. Had I not said anything, they would’ve charged me the $20/shot cost for a $5 shot. On top of that, shortly afterwards, a new server appeared and asked to take our drink order again. So 20 minutes into this ordeal, we had three salsa bowls for 4 people and a shot of cheap tequila and a new server. Great job Rio Grande.

Stopped for lunch on my way through town. I got the traditional Mexican tacos with half steak half chicken and a tamale. The steak was perfectly cooked and everything was seasoned perfectly. Honestly the food was fantastic. I probably wouldn’t get the tamale again but the tacos were definitely some of the better tacos I’ve had. Service was as expected and price was average.

This place is probably better than the 3 stars I gave. We’ve been there a few times now and each visit has been better than the prior. After our first visit, which was shortly after their opening, I really had no desire to go back. The food was presented very well, but was really lacking flavor. We waited a couple months before going back and I’m glad we did. The food on the second visit was still a little inconsistent. The main course was excellent, but the rice was still bland and the salsa was more like tomato juice.
On our third visit they nailed it. Everything was excellent. The salsa was like salsa, the rice and beans had great flavor, and the main dishes were excellent as well. If they can just get consistent, I would give them 4 stars. I would say 5, but for me I really want to hold on the the 5 stars for truly exceptional experiences.
Have to add though that the service has been excellent every visit. I also really like the decore. They did a really nice job with it. I wouldn’t mind a margarita on the patio either.

We just beat the crowd! This Restaurant is amazing. The food super delicious, the Sangria – to die for and the waitress super nice and very attending! We will definitely be back!!!!

One of the best Mexican restaurants i have been to in a while..was traveling through the area and had dinner here..the food was very good and everything tasted fresh..definitely try the Birria Ramen..the fajitas did not skimp on the meat like some places..recommend trying this of you are anywhere near

Loooveee this place!! Everything is soo clean the food is on point the service excellent, (very fast service) the environment is very nice and the best part, the margaritas! This is my favorite mexican restaurant in town for eveeerrr!!
