The resturant is just on the corner of a busy plaza with lots of other food and shops!
Inside is small. I ate in at the wobbly table with the half booth in the corner facing a wall. At first I was like ehh I don’t know how this place is going to go but the family who owns it is the kindest with the biggest hearts.
Very sweet. Very accommodating and the food presentation. It wasn’t crazy fancy but it was clean. Each dish was presented with love and you could deffinantly feel it.
So the food. Spring roll was good. Dumplings in my opinion were the perfect consistency fried well but still soft enough. The dipping sauce for them was Devine. I like to add some hot oil to mine for a little kick. I was also really happy they had hot oil because alpt of places just give you Chilli or Sriracha. So that was a plus for me.
The bang bang shrimp. That’s my new favorite dish. I wanted to eat it all but knew I was just there for tasting. But they were even really good warmed up the next day.
Tried the crab Rangoon. It was fried perfect. And presented with a homemade sweet and sour sauce but they were pretty much all dough. Barely any stuffing and I got more onions then crab in most of them.
Next of we have the crispy scallion chicken. Wonderful. Crispy. The sauce had a great flavor. It was zesty like orange chicken but also sweet and sticky like honey chicken and the flavors combined wasn’t too heavy. I just had it with a little white rice and overall deff will go back.
10/10 recommend you stop in and try it too
They serve Chinese and Thai staples, all at very reasonable prices, and they offer brown rice. Lunch specials are mostly under $10 too (Tue-Fri 11-3, Sat 12-3)
Recommend the Singapore rice noodles, Thai curry noodles, and Pad Thai with crispy tofu!
It was tasty I will be back again when in the area!
Highly recommend. And service was nice as well!
Crab rangoons were the worst I’ve had, they were empty shells, all 6 of them, essentially no filling inside them. The sweet and sour chicken itself was fine, some pieces were a bit burnt (which I’ve never seen before) but the sauce tasted… off. Kinda pungent. The chicken pad Thai was fine, nothing to write home about. I got Panang curry, and it was so bland. The it had almost zero of the typical panang flavor. It looked more like a Chinese dish, usually it’s more soup-like with a lot of sauce, but the sauce was probably only 10% of the volume, and it just didn’t taste anything like Panang curry. A few of the vegetables (broccoli in particular) had a weirdly metallic and pungent taste as well. The calamari tasted okay, but it was so minimal in amount, and wasn’t fried at all (compared to one of the photos in another review below). And to top it off, of the four fortune cookies, 2/4 had no fortune in it hahaha. Safe to say we’ll try other Thai places from here on out.
