Happy hour menu is wildly disappointing. Bravas fries are WET, lukewarm, fast food style fries and the cauliflower was a room temp bite for $10. Wayyyy overpriced it’s actually shocking.
Burrata salad was decent, mac nut pesto was quite yummy! The Hamachi Collar sadly was fishy and it was finished out of hunger.
Their ability to make food gluten free is pretty good, but for celiacs (like me) they have one frier for everything so wouldn’t recommend for celiacs!
Cocktails were fine! Nothing special that we had.

We got there right as they opened at 5. It was obvious that there were a lot of locals there. Everyone seem to know everyone. The hostess was very friendly and we genuinely felt like part of their family. We were quickly served waters. There’s a happy hour during the week. We ordered a delicious drink special and a nice cold beer. Ordered some roasted peppers, potatoes and cauliflower. All were delicious in their own unique ways. There’s a small bar inside as well as some tables but the best tables are outside.

Seth is the KING! He works tirelessly. The staff is what makes this place so amazing. Best spot for happy hour drinks, apps, and fun atmosphere. Home is where you connect to the WiFi automatically

Just left and already can’t wait to go back! Everything we tried—from the cocktails to the food—was absolutely amazing. Seth, the head bartender, kept surprising us with creative cocktails and had excellent food recommendations. The décor added to the experience, creating a fantastic vibe that made the night even better. We’ll definitely be back soon. Pro tip sit at the bar and ask the bartender food and drink recommendations.

If you’re looking for a taste of refinement on the North Shore, this restaurant is a must-visit. While it’s not exactly a hidden gem, it still manages to stand out from the food truck and surfer scene with its sophisticated offerings. The drink selection, including a homemade coconut/guava soda that tasted like a tropical island in a glass, was fantastic. And the menu options did not disappoint.

We decided to try the crispy chicken sandwich, Spanish Lobster Roll, and couscous salad with shrimp, and each dish was impressive in its own right. The salad was a refreshing combination of Mediterranean flavors, and the lobster roll was both delicate and satisfying. The sauce had a subtle flavor that complemented the lobster without overpowering it, and each bite seemed to intensify the flavors in a delightful way.

What really stood out to me was the attention to detail in each dish. It was clear that the chefs put a lot of care and thought into creating the perfect flavor profiles, and the result was a meal that was both satisfying and memorable.

If you’re in the area, I highly recommend checking out this restaurant. It’s a wonderful addition to the food scene and definitely worth a visit. And who knows, you might just discover your new favorite dish.

When my husband and I started thinking about who we wanted to cater our wedding, Mayas was the obvious choice. Our goal was for our wedding day to reflect our lives in the North Shore, so our favorite local restaurant was the obvious choice.

Working with Lamont was such a highlight of the process. He’s incredibly creative and made menu planning feel effortless. We gave him a few cuisines we love – Peruvian, Japanese, and Italian – and he somehow brought them all together into a menu that felt cohesive and absolutely delicious.

The Mayas catering team truly goes above and beyond. Their package covered everything, from pupus to dinner service to the bar, and we felt completely taken care of throughout the day. Months later, our guests are still talking about how amazing the food was and how good the drinks were. We couldn’t recommend Mayas more highly!

I’ve always liked this place always fresh and they use locally sourced ingredients, including Hawaii ranched, free range proteins and local vegetables and conscious about organics and sustainability not only that but food is great quality, delicious, well balanced, and beautifully presented. Nice quaint hole in the wall and laid back country atmosphere with great service and prices as well…indoor/outdoor seating as an option and high quality with very reasonable prices! Not to mention fabulous craft cocktails! My consistent go to…

Maya’s recently changed their menu and while fresh & new items are great, I feel some of the value for food has decreased.

We usually go for the happy hour menu and noticed happy hour pricing has gone up for
the food. I understand there’s inflation but if you’re gonna charge more at least keep the food quality and value the same.

What was the Patatas Bravas is now French fries (frozen) slathered with the sauce they put on the patatas bravas tapas plate. The previous dish was $7 and just a mini version of the full size tapas plate with cubed potatoes. So the menu changed for an inferior dish and the price is now $10.

We also ordered the fried chicken pieces with some micro greens and sauce off the Happy Hour menu. This was also $10 and pretty delicious.

Lastly, we ordered the braised short rib with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The short rib was perfectly cooked and fall apart tender. The dish also had a Demi glace sauce that was overly salty.

We are disappointed that some of the value for the food has gone down.

Pretty tasty and nice variety. Great place for sharing small plates with friends. Definitely want to make a reservation ahead of time, as it is a busy busy place. The lamb empanadas were fantastic pair with the sauce. The paella was on the thick side ( would have preferred a bit more liquid in the rice) and strong with the seafood flavor for my taste. We tries the hummus, and found it was great when mixed with the olive garnished on top. With out the olives, a little bland.
Excellent drinks and a lovely ambiance!

The food was absolutely superb and the service was top tier! We sat at the bar and had the best margaritas (probably best I’ve EVER had) and I’ve tried a lot of margaritas! I recommend trying their Brussels sprouts as an appetizer and if you’re a seafood lover the cioppino is a must! Also, order the cheese cake. It’s delicious!
