Okay so I almost didn’t come here because of the reviews, and I’m genuinely upset at myself for almost missing out on this place.
I came in feeling pretty nauseous and my waitress, Hailey, was super attentive and helped me figure out what to order. She pointed me toward the Chicken Stir Fry and honestly? Best recommendation I’ve ever gotten at a restaurant. That plate comes out STACKED — chicken, green beans, broccoli, bell peppers, all on top of this fragrant rice with pita on the side. The seasoning is unreal. I cleared the whole thing.
I also got the Lemon Chicken Rice Soup and it was exactly what I needed. Nothing crazy fancy, but it was creamy, tasty, and genuinely comforting. The oyster crackers that come with it are lowkey addictive. It settled my stomach perfectly and set me up for the rest of the meal.
Finished with the Strawberry Cheesecake and it did not disappoint. Great way to end it.
The service here is no joke either — I had my soup and stir fry on the table within 10 minutes. My waitress stayed attentive the whole time without being overbearing. The staff here actually cares, and you can feel it.
Seriously, don’t sleep on this place because of a few bad reviews. K L Coney Island is a hidden gem and the people here deserve way more love. 5 stars, no question.

All I got was chilli cheese fries and ranch, they were amazing and the ranch is homemade. Love they are open 24 hours. The only thing I didn’t like was I called twice to place my order and no one answered the phone. But when I got there I seen it was only one waitress working the floor and she was the only one handling carry outs and doordashes as well. Once I ordered food was fast, hot and delicious!

It took like 15 mins for our server to come to our table and grab our drinks, my food came out wrong but it wasn’t anything I couldn’t fix my self, I had to pick off the red onions and my fries were supposed to be chili cheese fries but the fries were so good I just ate them with some ranch. The food was amazing, the service not so much. as a manager If you know you’re only going to have two servers on the floor on a saturday evening you should probably be there helping your employees out. Like I said food was amazing & Id hate to see the place shut down just because of bad service.

Where do i start. The place is nice big semi clean. But the staff is everywhere with no order. I placed a call in and got there it was wrong. The cashier had a kid with her running around the resturant in peoples faces. Other staff was to upset and complaing loudly to help no communication skills as a team. This place needs mangement asap. I decided to just sit and eat since it was a wait. Finally the food is good. Shouts to the cook. Went back a 2nd time service was great food was good. Keep the two women with glasses working.

I decided to try it out since supposedly there was a management change and a new restaurant but was not pleased. The omelet tasted stale and old even though it was supposedly made fresh. I would not recommend this place at all if your in the area.

Ordered to Carry Out for me and my neighbor they got it totally wrong and they didn’t want to refund my money and they lied to me telling me on a Saturday at 4 PM that the manager went to the bank to get changed for the register which I know they have a safe and on a weekend they would have that all settled since I worked in a restaurant business for 30 years very disappointed. I wish it was a better place cause I was looking forward to a nice restaurant right up the street.

Best thing they did was make this spot a coney! Then it’s 24 hours, which is amazing for my ever changing schedule! You can call, order and get exactly what you asked for too! Prices are amazing as well! I am so happy K&L coney opened up. New favorite spot!
