This right here is how it’s done! Brisket smoked to perfection! Tender, juicy, full of flavor and pulled right apart in your fingers and melted in your mouth. That jalapeño cheddar sausage IS KILLER! Everything on my plate was hot to the touch and exceeded all of my expectations! Hot sides, great sauces, excellent, prompt and friendly customer service. And finally the most important part, clean restaurant and facility! 5 stars!!! I will be back!

I was there on January 31st around 6:30 pm. Were grabbed a table, group of 6 and waited a little bit. The blonde gal who came over to be our waitress was probably having a bad day. We ordered off the menu no substitutions no changes, she seemed annoyed every time she spoke with us. She never offered refills and most of us were out of water for 1/2 of the meal. Had to find her to get a refill on beer. Food took about 30 minutes which no big deal good food can take some time. The appetizer came out with the entrees. Ordered pulled pork sandwiches, ribs, sausage platter, and brisket sandwiches. The flavor of the food was great, but the food came out cold.
She did not come back during the meal.
After we finished 2 of us needed a box, she roller her eyes? I have honestly no idea what the issue was. Then she asked us to pass our dirty trays down the aisle across everyone instead of walking to the other end to gram them. So every person had to touch someone else’s bbq tray.
The food. The salad was great lots of lettuce and toppings everything was fresh. The onion rings were also excellent! Great batter to onion ratio, very crispy. The ribs had good flavor and were very moist, but again they were cold. And the Mac and cheese had definitely been scooped then sat so long it had a dried out a bit and was room temp. Potato salad was creamy. Pulled pork sandwich was large, very generous amount of meat.
I really enjoyed having all the different styles of sauces at the table and I thought that was a really nice touch.
I would love to give it another try, just hope that isn’t working when I do.

So the brisket is so amazing moist and tasty. They stayed open for me to pickup my food after hours. Great staff and crew. I highly recommend this place. Best brisket ive had in the country. Thank you KC for staying late and making sure I got my food ive been here several times always great customer service. Please come eat here and say hello to the amazing staff.

OMG WOW! Best Smoked food around, not sure how we missed knowing this was 10 minutes east from Severance! I had the Brisket and cheesy corn..my hubby had the Piggly Wigley…brisket and jalapeño sausage sandwich. Tasty fries! We’ll be back!

I didn’t expect to find such high caliber BBQ in such a rural part of Colorado. Brisket was very impressive (TX style), sausage was good, pulled pork was solid. Fabulous onion rings. Corn was good. Mac and cheese was neither bad or special. Will be back.

This place is as good as advertised. Incredibly delicious brisket and Kielbasa. The potato salad and Cole slaw are both excellent. And a warm inviting fireplace on a winter day.

I i don’t understand, these reviews are exaggerated. Every time I pass through i don’t seem to have theses problems, people are great food is good as well. When you go to a cook out you can’t say save me some ribs! If your late you missed out. As for paper plates its BBQ most people don’t use plates. And as for k.c. she’s great was on it all the time never skipped a beat. You guys should try them, im out of colorado springs we don’t have a place like this.

One of a kind service and welcoming.
The brisket just fell apart, the ribs were cooked perfectly, and the cheesy corn was unique and delicious. And, the onion rings were crispy and perfectly cooked and absolutely fantastic with their ranch dressing
I was told the turkey and the potato salad were out of this world, and that’s why they were sold out when we went.

So I’m from KC, used to be a KCBS official judge and have smoked plenty of meat. This is some great Q…really great.
Pork > so juicy and flavorful didn’t really need sauce. Some of the best pulled pork I have ever had.
Brisket > tender and cooked perfectly, but only wish just a tad more seasoning in it, but still excellent.
Beans > maybe the BEST I’ve had…could drink the juice! Incredible.
Potato Salad > not bad, but wish there was a bit more kick, i don’t know some relish or onion or who knows.
And…the toast, pickles and onions were spot in…give this place about 9.2 outta 10 really dang good thanks folks!

My husband and I stopped here today for lunch. I can honestly say that they have to best smoked barbecue we have ever had.nthe servings were huge and everything including the sides were outstanding! I highly recommend them!
