11.99 for 8 pieces of sashimi is a crazy good deal. The spicy steak combo was pretty good and a nice size for the price as well, but it came with some yumyum style sauce that wasn’t necessary, it was already breaded fried and tossed in a mildly sweet and spicy sauce. Very good

My second visit to this establishment, and it’s just as good the second time around! If your party has mixed budget needs, the smaller dishes and specialty sushi roll entrees can be as inexpensive as 10 dollars with larger dinners ranging up in the 20’s to 30’s. The portion sizes are well worth whatever price you pay. Everyone at my table needed a takeout box! The furnishings are simple yet elegant, and the semi-secluded room where the booth tables are is a cozy space for an evening with friends.

Visited Atami to celebrate my great work day!
Ordered the King Tempura Roll (cooked) & Miso soup.
The roll was bland & the center was mushy and not as hot as it should’ve been, unfortunately.
My server was pleasant, but it took longer than expected for the roll to come out even though there were only 3 tables seated.
Miso soup tasted as if it were a powder base mix. I wasn’t impressed, but at least I gave it a shot!
Price of the roll was $15 & miso $3.

The tube sushi bento box is two rolls of tuna, one traditional and one spicy, and three pieces of sashimi along with seaweed salad. Excellent for the price. However the rice isn’t as flavorful as expected and seems a bit stale . Thoroughly enjoyed the seaweed salad. Spicy tuna isn’t what I normally expect but good otherwise

Excellent service, super friendly & attentive staff, and high quality sushi. Tip the sushi chef and they treat you like a VIP. Arrive early on a Friday night as they close by 8. Great place for a date night.

Let my start by saying the Sushi was amazing! We really enjoyed the food with our visit. Our waitress was very nice, but you could tell she was over worked because they were short staffed. All in all a good experience, and would recommend the restaurant. My only detraction was that the kitchen and support staff seemed to be on their own schedule while the rest of the restaurant hustled around them.

I’m in Vicksburg for a few days. Today is Atami’s turn. I love sushi and hibachi places so this one is s no-brainer. Ordered octopus as an appetizer and the Poke Bowl for the entree. Service was fast, prices were reasonable and flavor was great. I will add this restaurant to my list of restaurants to return to.

I LOVE going here for amazing vegan sushi options! I have only had the vegetarian/vegan sushi options at this restaurant, but my vegan friend and I both rave about all of the options and the taste is amazing! We have come here 3 times already because it is so good. Vegan options for sushi rolls currently include sweet potato, vegetable, asparagus, and avocado rolls. They also have both low sodium and regular soy sauce at every table, and the service has always been wonderful/very attentive.

I have no idea how this place wasnt packed when I went! Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had and the menu had price options from low to a little higher. I splurged on something more expensive and it was very much worth it. Large portion and absolutely delicious. Plus, the staff were very nice. Pic is after I ate a few bites, couldn’t resist.
