Stopped in Craig for a couple of nights and googled breakfast restaurants and this was one of the choices and we are so glad we tried it! The food and service were both excellent. You can seat yourself, we were greeted with menus and our drink order was taken and they quickly arrived and our good orders were taken. My husband got the 3 egg omelet with diced ham, cheese and green chile topping and a side of bacon. It was actually more than he could eat and he is a pretty big guy. I just had a couple of eggs over easy with rye toast and bacon. This is real bacon! Everything was so good!

Wow. Just wow. We were coming through Craig and this seemed to be the only place to get breakfast, so we stopped. It is a “seat yourself” kind of place, so we found a seat and waited. And waited. And waited. Finally, the server, who was a very young girl, brought us our menus. She asked what we wanted to drink and, about 10 minutes later, finally brought us our drinks. 10 minutes later still, she finally returned to take our order. It was as if she was the owner’s daughter and was working there against her wishes. She was not pleasant, competent or speedy. Aside from her, the place was crawling with flies. It was disgusting.
We finally got our orders. I had ordered the chicken fried steak with soft scrambled eggs, hash browns and sourdough toast. It’s pretty bad when the toast was the best thing on the plate. The chicken fried steak was clearly a frozen patty that was thrown into the fryer. The hash browns were dry and flavorless and didn’t seem like they were prepared to order. And, clearly the chef has never heard of SOFT scrambled eggs because they were hard as a rock (and completely inedible). The other members of our party received a slightly better experience – the Denver omelet was “decent” and the pancakes were really good.
We ordered coffee and never once received a refill (nor did we get any ice water). When we went to pay, to add insult to injury, they have the nerve of charging a 4% credit card fee. As someone who’s run restaurants, let me tell you – this is a tax-deductible cost of doing business that should NEVER be passed on to the customer. So, if you’re in Craig, you could do a lot better for your meal. It’s unfortunate because I love supporting small mom and pop operations.

Delicious breakfast food! The service was good. The breakfast bowl with bacon and green chili was amazing. The Classic with corn beer hash was also great. The bloody mary was a fantastic touch to the wonderful breakfast.

Bacon was really really good!!! The rest of the food was okay. We walked in and it’s a seat urself kind of place and we had to figure that out. We sat down and waited to be seen at the table for about 15 minutes. Our server was very nice.

My husband and I had Brunch here.. absolutely the best breakfast burrito he has ever had, and he is a breakfast burrito connoisseur.. I had the chicken fried steak with gravy, hash browns and toast! The only thing that could beat our amazing meal was the customer service! The girls were the absolute sweetest ever!! This will be our new brunch spot for sure!!

First, our waitress Selena was an absolute delight! Went above and beyond for my every annoying request. 6 stars for Selena! The food was adequately portioned. However, seems the new cook had either a off day, or just a bit inexperienced at the grill. Still decent though. Chicken fried steak was a bit gamey. The pancakes need much to be desired, quite bland, and the syrup wasn’t very flavorful(Selna tracked down some Mrs. Butterworth, thanks again Six Star Selena!). Everything else was more than awesome. Super place to check out, amazing vibes. Completely chill!!!
