We absolutely loved Fuqua’s! We discovered it through their outstanding Google reviews and called ahead to confirm they were open— the sweet lady who answered was so kind that we already had a great feeling before we arrived.
So glad we stopped in. The food, the atmosphere, and the service were all truly fabulous. Everyone we encountered had such a gracious and genuinely hospitable attitude.

My husband and I like to search out local restaurants. Boy we were blessed to find Fuquas Southern Soul Food in Hartselle. They not only welcomed us in they fed us the most amazing food. It was all so good but what really stood out food wise was the collards. Done right. What also was done right was there hospitality and friendliness. I met 2 absolutely wonderful ladies, Eisha and Kris, who spoiled us rotten. We will be there Thanksgiving since we now feel like family!

This place is amazing! The food is very flavorful and they make the best steak I have ever had hands down. The owners are amazing, friendly and very welcoming! This place is the best southern home cooking spot around! They even play some great music that fits perfectly with the atmosphere. They serve lots of different food.
