This cute little place is in the same shopping center as SPD in Grass Valley. It’s has been opened for about a year.
They had some assorted pasties and rolls along with some fresh sourdough bread rounds. They also have coffee.
I decided to get something savory to go…linguisa wrapped in a croissant. It was so good…just enough for the ride!
Its somewhat small inside but looked very clean!
Next time I will get a coffee and maybe a cinnamon roll to go!
I will definitely be back to Lyons Fare!
Day old options were pricey compared to the other bakeries I’ve been to, fresh lemon rolls were 6 dollars each but a bag of two day old’s is $10? Only a dollar off? Strange.
Food was good but I don’t think I’ll be going back unfortunately.
The lemon rolls are my favorite thing on the menu, they’re crispy and caramelized on the outside while being so moist and flavorful on the inside. The regular cinnamon rolls are beautifully done as well. Scones are perfectly executed and the flavors rotate so you can always try something new.
They’re a small shop with limited items but they do such a great job there I stop by every time I’m driving through.
