Excellent service and exceptional food! I had the Chef’s Panini – crispy (not greasy) chicken, sliced tomatoes, greens, onion jam (yum, I ordered extra), basil aioli, and pepper jack cheese on focaccia and a side of handcut truffle fries.

There are places you go to eat where there is the warmth of spirit, the grace of community, the care of hosting you with love and friendship, and quality of food that makes you want to celebrate being a human. This is one of those places. There is heart here. It really is. This is not a luxury foodie experience haven; this is a well thought out menu of comfort food done really well that is served with joy and kindness.

And the White Russian, the Dude would be immeasurably proud of it.

To the folks who sustain this establishment I say: thank you sincerely for hosting me and my family and nourishing our laughs and stories. It meant the world to us. Thank you

Stopped in to the Sugar Shack for dinner. I had the “Taco de Carnitas” w/Truffle Fries. Pulled Pork, Jalapeños, Jalapeño Aioli, onions & lettuce. It was delicious! All ingredients were fresh and the Aioli sauce was outstanding. Definitely have to try this! Just look at my photo!

My first time at the new location was extremely disappointing. We arrived at 5:25pm and there were only two other tables with customers. We ordered at 5:40 and it took 45 minutes for our food to arrive, after I had to leave the table and find the server. Instead of bringing the salad first they brought it all at once. We had to eat fast because the hot food was barely warm. When we asked for a take out container for the salad we were informed it would cost extra. We heard an older couple seated just after us in the next booth ask for oyster crackers. They were still waiting for their dinner and were that hungry. It did not look short staffed. Perhaps because it hasn’t been opened long at the new location, but compared to the old place it was a let down.

Everytime I come here the food is spectacular. The service is phenomenal and attentive…it saddens me though that everytime i do come here its a ghost-town. Its such a shame that more people aren’t aware of its greatness. A must try is the French Toast…my god, I know its just bread and egg but the way the chef does it, no where compares.

Found this place while driving the country side looking at properties. WOW was I impressed at the food. Not crowded and obviously a favorite of the locals. The “snow mobilers platter” was just what I needed. Husband had the corned beef hash and he loved it. Highly recommend searching this place out and trying. If lunch is anything close to this, a must stop in place.

I wanted to like this place, truly. It has cute decor, staff friendly, convenient location. We waited over an hour for any sign of our food after asking twice and the servers avoided eye contact with us. They also tried to place an automatic tip on our bill. I have never not tipped in my life and this was the first time to ever ask for it taken off. I want to say they were just having a bad day, but the scent of gross bathroom on top of everything really sealed the deal of this review. Worst part: I’m not even an hour out from this dining experience and I think I’m going to get sick.

Wow! Really great breakfast ( which is served all day). Potatoes nice and crispy, not greasy. Bacon good, eggs just right. Waitress told us that this is just $10 from 8-10 am. And service with a smile and no rush. We will be sure to come back.

Let me start by saying the staff is AMAZING. The reviews definitely reflect the level of GREAT SERVICE you will get while dining here.

The servings are GINORMOUS so you get your money’s worth and you will have enough leftover for another meal!!!

I wanted so much to like the Turkey dinner unfortunately it was not enjoyable (no i didnt complain because the waitress was really great). The turkey and mashed potatoes were excellent. You have to pay an addition $3 for tiny serving of cranberry sauce and literally BOXED stuffing so very disappointed with that. The gravy is what really did in the dish for me….dark brown, canned or packaged gravy that was soooo bad. It needs real turkey gravy and it would turn this dish from dreadful to delicious!!!

I’ve literally never seen a piece of chicken parmesan as big as the one my daughter received…just wow is all can say. The penne cooked to perfection and red sauce tastes homemade with lots of flavor.

The Fisherman’s platter will fill you up fast. It is pricey at $30 but you get ALOT of seafood. Regular fries are hand cut and very good.

The bacon cheeseburger and coleslaw were very good too.

The other customer’s dining near us were VERY happy with their meals too. The chicken stirfry looked really yummy and they were raving about the fish tacos.

I would give this place another try for sure!!!!

Outstanding home cooked food! If it wasn’t so far away (we live
in Florida), we would be regulars. The “made from scratch” tomato basil soup is KILLER!
