If you want some authentic Nigerian food then SA CAFE and Lounge is a spot to try! The okra soup is DELICIOUS!! I sampled the jollof rice and the egusis soup that my friends ordered. It is all good. There is cow foot, cow stomach, and goat meat added to the soups. They do not cook any pork. Aunty took a picture with us! She has on the pink shirt. Aunty is the BEST!! She will make sure that you are taken good care of while dining at SA CAFE and Lounge. Please give them a try!!! SA Cafe/ Restaurant as I mentioned numerous times is a great place to dine or pick up a take out order. I’ve sat inside a few times and the atmosphere is very pleasant.
While driving. I spotted a huge advertisement for SA Cafe/Restaurant flashing on a billboard above Church Lane in Upper Darby right before Baltimore Pike/Avenue. That’s when I figured out I’d have that soup they allowed me to sample. I asked the waitress the name of the soup and she said it’s called Okra Soup and it comes with________. Lol.
I cant remember the name of this fluffy white side. But she showed me how to eat it and I must say it accompanies the soup extremely well. The soup is a little spicy so this side helps it blend.
Once again SA Cafe has satisfied my tastebuds. This restaurant is within two minutes of 69th Street Terminal in Upper Darby right outside of Philadelphia.

I’ve been to this establishment A little over three times so I believe that I can write a well rounded review. The first time was on a weekday after work ,I had absolutely great service and the food was great. The second time the service was meh And the food was OK. They brought out the pepper soup and it got cold while I waited for the pounded yam Which took almost 30 minutes to come out. I wasn’t happy about this. The last time that I went , I got the goat meat which had a strange smell to it since I got it to go I opted not to eat it so that I could not get sick. If I ever return to this restaurant it will be strictly on the weekdays and I will opt out the goat meat.

Sa cafe needs to do better. 70% of the time, I have received poor prepared meals from this restaurant. Tonight I ordered goat pepper soup and after waiting for an hour, I received oil pepper soup instead. This is terrible and pretty annoying.

Very nice food.. I definitely would recommend anyone here like the food is well seasoned and the presentation is very nice… But just that the hours taken to wait for the food is too long

DA Hub – An Event Company
We came out to decorate for a 30th birthday party and loved how courteous staff was. The venue contact especially was welcoming, and very professional. From Jennifer, the venue contact who made sure we had all we needed, to the guys and ladies that helped with the chairs and cleaned up afterwards, to the owner of the venue who came out (not once, or twice or three times) to make sure we were ok, customer service was phenomenal. It was a pleasant experience. Food was tasty good too!

SA Cafe is a Great place to dine. The Cozy Environment plus the delicious meal makes it a Top notch. I tried the Oga soup today and it was Fantastic. If you are looking for an African restaurant that will make you feel at home, find your way to SA Cafe.
