Terrible experience.
The man working tonight was incredibly rude to the customers ahead of us, loudly complaining about how busy the last two hours had been. I understand being overwhelmed, but customers shouldn’t be made to feel guilty just for walking in.

When it was our turn, our two kids tried to order, and he was extremely impatient—snapping his fingers at them to talk faster, talking over them, and rushing them through every step. He slapped their sandwiches together like they didn’t matter and then asked what my husband and I wanted. I told him we weren’t going to order because he was clearly overworked and taking it out on everyone.

He immediately started making excuses, then stormed to the back. A different employee came over, apologized, and started fixing the sandwiches he threw together. While she was asking what we wanted on our sandwiches, he suddenly rang us up mid-order and said, “$15,” as if he was trying to push us out the door. Sir… can we finish making the sandwiches first??

Ugh. I come to this Subway maybe once a year, and every time it’s something. Tonight just confirmed why I should have stuck with my usual Jimmy John’s…

Just one worker working. The place is slow and always under staffed. It’s less of a hassle to drive to the other side of town to a different subway than to wait half a hour at this one.
The lady in there today was at least sweet and very apologetic.

Honestly, I don’t even know why I keep coming here. Every time that lady is here in the morning, she makes it feel like it’s such an inconvenience to her. Never greets her customers & made me stand there awkwardly for approximately 10 min. A good ol’ “give me a minute & I’ll be right with you” will go a long way! Js. Customer service is definitely trash at this place. Take your business elsewhere. This location is NOT worth it.

There were only two employees there and they were pretty busy, between customers and take out/door dash orders coming in.
The staff worked very efficiently and gave their full attention when working on our sandwiches.
They were out of churros but they had my favorite cookies! We used a coupon, which knocked down our total and we will definitely be back, even though there was a wait.

Waited 30 minutes to have my order taken 3 employees only 1 waiting on customers 1 employee getting bread ready the other one was slicing meat. The Manager was the only one taking order she would do 2 peoples order make the 1st wait until 2nd order was done. During this time she was doing online orders . Never said I’ll be with you in a moment. This is the 2nd time I have been in there and this was happening. About 5 people walked out because of the way this store is ran

Had a long long wait in store – waiting – while food service worked hard for ungrateful, self entitled, online or phone order customers that arrive and are so unhappy because they had to wait an extra minute or two for their order to be filled. Maybe they can receive a call when it’s ready, IDK . But why should a customer, willing to walk in and order, have to wait for those unwilling to spend their precious time to do the same?
Rant? Maybe, but why is my time of less importance? Sad times.

I think Subway is turning into greedy businesses. A sandwich cost more than minimum wage. A sandwich should never cost that much. That’s even with a coupon. Now they’ve taken away the choices for the coupons. And gave you a very small nasty variety. I just wish this business can do better with this because I have to spend more for a sandwich then I can get within a minimum wage hour. 3 hour I would have work at minimum wage, so can buy a sandwich but with coupons you’re limited with nasty choices.Footlong sandwich cost 20 bucks natural and minimum wage is $7.25 . Somebody explained this bologna.

I had a mobile order and the bread was hard as a rock. Missing most of the vegetables. When picking up the food they were very rude at the counter “what do you want” like the customer the problem walking in their store.
Apparently they want to work there and get paid just the work seems to be an inconvenience for the. Who ever owns that business I’m sorry those workers are what you are stuck with. Can’t produce a correct sandwich per the order with everything listed, rude and serving old bread.

The staff at Subway on south Van Buren is always positive. They are always busy trying to make customers happy so they don’t have to wait forever in line. If it takes a while they apologize. Their food tastes good too.

I gave this subway a 1 star cause I couldn’t put no stars. Every time me and my family come in it usually takes anywhere between 20 to 30 minutes to order and get our food. Today we walked in and there was 6 people in front of us waiting to order there was 3 employees there but only 1 lady making the food and the poor lady had a brace on both of her wrists. The other two employees was literally standing around. My family waited approximately 15 min and only 1 sandwich was made so we left. There was no ounce of urgency within that building today. I’m sure I’ll come back but only when I have more than an hour to waiste definitely not during my lunch break. Please get better with this.
