Southern Social used to be so much fun. However, once they made the bar 18+ it’s been a no good experience every time. The 18 year olds are still having drinks bought for them and they act crazy because they can’t handle their alcohol.

I had a really disappointing encounter with a bartender the other night. She was probably like 35 years old I think, brunette, name started with a M? her words to me were rude to me and my husband. Worst customer service I’ve experienced in a long time. She also seemed to not be sober. I’ll be sharing this with all my friends in the area. Love this bar otherwise and come multiple times a week. Thank you very much for looking into this problem

Southern Social is a very soft warm lighted cozy place for people to settle down have drinks, share memories, and get to know each other. Your greeted with a very positive vibe and energy. Your welcomed to the var no matter what color or who you are. Staff have always been great people and they there hardest to get things done fast but better then you wanted. Tyler in peticular is one of the most popular I see out of the staff not only is he a good friend but will always make you laugh even if your having a bad day. I would definitely recommend him for a employee of the month! Thank you SOUTHERN SOCIAL for having me here and making me feel welcomed.

Love this place yes it is busy on Friday and Saturday but isn’t that what you want as a business owner so I believe when there’s a full house on Friday Saturday, it speaks for itself all these one star reviews maybe it just wasn’t your cup of tea if a place isn’t busy then it must not be any good is my theory but it’s a packed house. They must be doing something right great staff great bartenders. Love it there ❤️❤️

5 stars all day. The bar is an awesome place to hang out and drink. These recent 1 star reviews is drama because these young adult line dancers can’t grow up and throw a fit when it doesn’t go there way. The owner does 4 days of line dancing. The line dance instructors are awesome and break down the dancing lesson for you. Some people just can never be happy. The underage. They mark them with X’s.

Even though I admit Wednesdays and Thursdays are good nights to dance, it is nowhere near as enjoyable as it used to be due to the clientele it has attracted. The high reviews it has received recently is mainly the people that are there to drink and be disruptive to the actual dancers that are trying to do the thing that they enjoy and look forward to. The weekend DJ is arrogant, careless and panders more to the delinquents. It gets too full to where it’s hard to dance without running into someone who’s not and somehow it’s our fault that they’re in the way. Not to mention the underage drinking myself and others have seen first hand. Southern is still a place that I hold great memories at and somewhere I have made great friends. If you want to party, it’ll be an excellent place for you. If you want to dance, I recommend looking elsewhere!

This place is awful. Bartenders are drunk and will take 30 minutes to take to your order. Awful vibe and will never get a good vibe unless your under 21 here to learn line dancing that’s it.
