Food quality is ok.
This unfortunately is the most affordable food in this entire mall food court. Most fast food in this food court charge close to $4 for a drink or $16+ for a combo meal.
At McDonald’s, use the terrible touch screen thing so you can take your time and find the lowest price food options. I was able to get fries, drink and a double burger for $10 which is much more reasonable than almost all the other places here.
Large drink $1.89
Medium fries $4.29
Double burger $3.39
The medium fries are now a much smaller portion than they used to be and they actually put them into a small fry bag only changing the label on the bag to say Medium. But still a better price deal than fries anywhere else in this food court.
The touch screen is really bad. It is way too tall for young adults, teens or anyone shorter than 6ft tall. It is at a 90 degree sharp angle so it is anti-ergonomic for the human body at any height especially due to the height of this damn thing. Clicking, swiping and locating what you want is slow and tiresome instead of fun and easy. For an quick example, compare this with the AMC kiosks upstairs. AMC kiosks are set at a normal screen size, easily accessible for all heights, set at a perfect 45 degree angle, quick, responsive, fun, easy to use and intuitive.
But despite all the faults of the McDo kiosk, use it if you want to save money here. Kids meal is $6 plus tax which is $2 more expensive than Bergenfield, but still cheaper than all kids meals at this mall.
Also, the straws at McDo are all disgusting paper straws. Just ask for a real plastic straw at any of the other restaurants nearby and they will gladly give u one.

Ever since this McD opened many years back, we often stop by this store to please our McD cravings when we are in GSP. It’s relatively small, few spots for dining in, always very crowded. Yet somehow we always manage to order under 5 minutes and we also get our order under 5 minutes. It’s very impressive how they handle such large volume of guests.
The food has always been McD standard. We have got Big Mac, McNuggets, McChicken, Quarter pounder, cheeseburger, fish filet, happy meal, fries (duh), ice cream, milkshake all sorts of items from here over the years, We never had any problem with the quality, quantity or the taste. Fountain sodas have been good too. The only drawback is this store is always messy, specially around the fountain machine area.

Highway robbery at its finest. My daughter and I stopped for McDonald’s yesterday because she wanted the Croc Happy meal. Personally, Ii wanted to go to Peck Peck Chicken in Teaneck or Boom Boom Chicken in Fort Lee. Last choice was Fluffies which looked lite!I was busy and in a rush and just decided to listen to my daughter. I ordered a McChicken Meal and was disappointed. She was equally upset and the mood was sour. Too much that was to be said with the disappointment of which was supposed to be a great meal

Ok so how do you rate McDonalds food?
Well if they give you the correct size food, maybe better than when they don’t.
Fast food using a kiosk how you ask do you get a 1 for service. I will tell you – you just order medium fries, the woman (working at around 3pm on Saturday, March 23) says right to you “Oh my God” right in your face, when you ask for a dipping sauce.. is it really that difficult to just hand someone a sauce? I get it people behind the counter have bad days, but so do people on the other side.
Maybe it is time for this person to enter a different field, warehouse, garbage pick up, something where she doesn’t have to deal with people. I don’t think she expected my response as she was speechless when I said did you just say Oh My God to her because she asked you for dipping sauce.
Unfortunately at that time I did not realize she also didn’t notice that we paid for medium fries because she gave us small.
The food court has so many choices and I will never walk in that McDonalds again. Does it matter in the overall success of McDonalds that I will not go to that one ever again? Absolutely not. However if you don’t go because of this then that’s great.
When I asked her about it no apology nothing just stared at me like a deer in the headlights. And honestly deer have gotten a bit smarter than that, most of them make it across fine now.
Bye bye Westfield Garden State Plaza McD. You are so not needed, with all the choices you should make sure this woman starts making burgers and not serving food.

Well you guys should fix the two orders machine that accept cards only for this Mc Donald’s restaurants and you guys should have faster workers so it could be better for the manger. Went I order my Mc Donald’s order instead of a medium fries they put this small fries bag as my order maybe the worker should change that like put the fries in the medium order and the fries in the small order so the customers won’t be confused with there order went they getting it. And also you guys need two trash bins there in that Mc Donald’s, restaurants so went the customers are done eating they will pick up there own trash and throw it in the bin so it could be less mess for the workers. And you the workers should change this medium bag into a small bag of fries.

I rarely write reviews but this Mcdonalds was really good (ordered on 1/23/2025 noon) and food arrived nicely packaged and warm. The quality of the burgers were really good and the staff put the correct amount of sauces and napkins. Probably the best fast food delivery quality since some years I used a third party delivery service.

Guys don’t go to this place. First of all, the people are rude and this one lady thinks she rules the mc Donald’s. Second, the food is not what you pay for. At any other mc Donald’s, I can get the size that I ordered from this mc Donald’s much bigger. I ordered large fries, and it came as a size medium. Like what? I’m never coming back here. The people here are negative and have an attitude.

i was blamed for a pepper that was on the table next to me by a rude worker. keep in mind, i didn’t order anything that was remotely close to a green pepper.
i was rudely confronted by one of the employees. when i told her that the pepper on the table was not mine she gave me a rude look. as i began to leave and throw away everything i had, the workers behind the register were giving me dirty looks.
the pepper was not mine mcdonald’s! never coming back. i’m severely disappointed.
