My favorite place! Hole in the wall, great staff, great ambiance. Super laid back for a quick bite out in the city. Their oysters are such a treat; they’re at a great price and delicious!

A fun place to gather with friends! Came here on a Saturday and they had ample seating and lots of reservations left.

Happened to be in the area for some errands. We were craving sushi and found two restaurants. Sake Bomb was the more economically friendly option thus we ended up coming here. The restaurant was clean, the service was prompt, and the quality was appropriate relative to price. The grilled squid was prepped well and we were satisfied with the portion size. Would love to try their monkfish liver next time around. I’d definitely choose this restaurant again if the sushi craving hits while I’m in the area.

The staff here are super friendly and helpful. All the sushi and nigiri our group tried were excellent. They also had such a great list of options for sake that we embraced the name and did those too, which were also great. An underrated awesome little spot!

Fast, friendly service. Really cute, warm atmosphere. Very pretty and unique presentation of food. Everything we had was delicious. Miso soup, sexy girl roll, spider crab roll, Hamachi kama, unfiltered white peach sake.

I figured there would be many Mexican restaurants around Mission, but then I noticed this Japanese restaurant. We came during happy hour (5-7pm) and ordered mainly food from their happy hour menu. Most things were discounted a couple dollars, while most of the sushi was only $1 off. The regular menu was fairly small compared to most restaurants. All the food we got was delicious, it just would have been better with a little more portions. For example, the baby fried calamari could fit in my hand. Both service and presentation is good. This is a good place to go if you want Japanese food where Mexican restaurants dominate the area.

My new favorite Japanese restaurant! Tasty, fresh sushi (we loved the hamachi nigiri and double salmon rolls but everything was good) as well as cooked dishes (gyoza were crunchy & delicious). Despite their boozy name, they’re kid-friendly (they’ve got high chairs and were very accommodating to our 2 year old). Also had lots of gluten-free options for my wife.
