By far one of the best spots in town. Offering all types of food to include fish, chicken, burgers, gyros and more. Whoever is cooking in the back i commend. You can tell a lot of love and effort gets put into making the food. Very neatly presented and always fresh. Perfect amount of seasoning. When im at work this is my favorite place to stop by and get lunch. The atmosphere is a 2 star just because its not somewhere you dine in. Just a pick up or waiting for food mostly but customer service is great. Food is hands down some of the best around.

The wings were delicious with the perfect amount of spice. The shrimp fried rice was made fresh as I waited and you could tell by the taste of it. This was the best tasting fried rice that I’ve had in a long time. I did miss the fried egg in the rice & I’m not a fan of green beans in my rice. Overall great food.

I stopped here for lunch on my break, and if you’re not familiar with their setup, let me explain: the wings are placed in the wider section of the tray, and the fries sit on top, covering most of the food. I ate some fries and a few wings, planning to save the rest for later. But when I picked up another wing, there was a hair underneath it.
I immediately called the establishment to notify them, and I was told that if I brought the food back, I could receive a partial refund or have the order remade. After getting off work, I drove back—even though it was completely out of my way—only for the woman I spoke with to dismiss everything she previously told me. She tried to claim the hair was mine, which was impossible considering I have weave in and the hair found in the plate looked nothing like mine.
Not only was the situation handled unprofessionally, but I also wasted my time and gas returning based on what I was promised over the phone. I’ve eaten here several times before, but after this experience, I’m extremely disappointed and will not be returning.

I don’t know why I even bother to order from these restaurants in Columbia as it’s always a negative experience. I place a order thru Door Dash for a 15pc lemon pepper wings and a small french fries. The delivery was quick. Opened up the containers (2) and to my surprise the wings were very tiny. Plus they looked over cooked. I chucked it off and started plating the food to share with my friend. In doing so I noticed I was shorted 4 wings. Now to some people that’s not a problem but for me, one with a strict budget, it was. So I called the store. I ask specifically how are the wings counted as they’re served in separates (meaning drums and flat). She said it’s counted as a whole wing just chopped in half. I said ok I wanted to clear that up before I make my complaint. I told her that I was shorted 4 wings (8 separates). She placed me on hold, a man gets on the phone and tells me to call Door Dash and get a refund that he’s too busy to listen to me. So that’s exactly what I did. I explained the entire situation to a DD agent and stressed it was not a complaint about the Dasher it was a complaint about the merchant. DD agent apologized and issued me a refund after I expressed that I wanted the Dasher to be able to keep his tip I gave in the app plus I tipped him when he delivered my food. Now I have to wait 3 days for a refund and I don’t even want to eat the food now. People PLEASE start holding these merchants accountable! I work too hard for my few pennies to be taken for a fool. Let’s see if I get this refund back on my CA card in 3 days. I will update in 3 days.

This was my first time trying American Deli and omg it was SO fire! Everything was so good! I couldn’t even get a decent picture because I had already ate half of my meal. I got the sub + 5 wings. But they gave me 7 wings instead and for that, I’ll forever be a customer ☺️

I have 2 stars just because the food was good and after complaining they added food but for the price they only gave a scoop of fries.. compared to the ones on decker and garners ferry this one is a rip off. There was barely any sauce on the wings and didn’t taste like honey at all

First time customer at the American Deli on 10/17/24. Purchased the Turkey/Ham Sub only on-line with Uber Eats (pick up service). The picture of the sub looked much better than the actual food. The ham, turkey and cheese sub was not piled high with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, sliced onions, mild banana peppers, tangy pickles, and mayo, all on a freshly toasted soft hoagie roll. The sandwich tasted like it was made earlier during the day (not fresh). It was not freshly toasted as advertised. Very disappointed.

I order my food through DoorDash. I usually never have a problem with this location so that’s why I am giving it a 3 star. My chicken was tasting like fish. I called the store and was informed that they cook their chicken and fish in the same grease. I find this not sanitary just because of cross contamination and as I experience my food tasting like fish. In addition this is kind of scary for someone who has a food allergy.
