We had a little stay-cation in Strasburg this weekend and we’re convinced we HAD to try 63 Corks. The internet strongly advised on having a reservation and I’m glad we listened. It’s a small place so it fills up fast, even without a special occasion. The menu rotates based on what they have available and I think that is so fun. You can smell how fresh everything is before you even walk in. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The drinks were also outstanding. I think a lot of Fine Dining doesn’t give you enough bang for your buck but 63 corks gives it all and then some. Highly recommend and hope we can come back soon!

Decided to check out the new version of Shy Cellars. They made sure we understood that 63 Corks is not associated in any way with Shy. Okay then.

We had a lovely time though we weren’t thrilled about sitting in the tiny side room at the tiny 4-person bar with our backs to the room…it felt cramped.

Our server helped us choose the perfect bottle of wine from an extensive collection.

The apples and rice appetizer was excellent..like arancini balls. My husband had the duck and liked it. I had the lumache which was just ok. The pasta was a little too al dente and the large clumsy shells didn’t seem like the right shape for the delicate dish. It was supposed to come with shrimp, but surprise…nope! It came with lobster. I find lobster a bit sweet and thought shrimp would have worked better. This girl is usually in the clean plate club when it comes to pasta and seafood dishes but not tonight.

I will say that the dessert alone was worth the one hour drive.. the smoked smores arrived with a bell jar of smoke which the server whisked off to reveal a delectable gooey to-die-for cake smothered in caramel and marshmallow. Did I mention it came with two cups of hot white chocolate to pour over the whole thing? Omg..drool-worthy.

This is a hidden gem. We went for our anniversary and had a wonderful experience. We started with the pork belly with creamed corn and it was tender and paired with the creamed corn it was incredible. We also got the bread service- corn bread with house made butter and a smoked peach jam. SO good! For entrees we had the wagyu beef cheeks and the heirloom pork. Both meals were fantastic. While visiting Amish country the food selection is limited so this was a very refreshing change. The best meal we’ve had while visiting this area! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable as well. Will definitely go back especially since the menu changes regularly.

My wife and I has an amazing time at 63 Corks! The food was out of my comfort zone and truthfully I needed an interpreter to understand it but the staff was very kind and patient with all my questions. I highly recommend the Smores desert and the elk chop it was a 10 out of 10

63 corks is farm to fork dining at it’s best, locally sourced and the flavors are immaculate. The menu is seasonal to support locally sourced foods. The pairings of flavors are nothing short of an art form. They are niche dining, and purposely keep their dining area smaller to focus on each diner, so be sure to make a reservation online. The reservation process is easy and intuitive. This is a perfect place for special occasions whether it be a birthday, anniversary, or any achievement. The chef is in house daily and you can see the magic happen from inside the dining room, they also have outdoor patio seating and the atmosphere is inviting and yet refined.

We’ve been here a handful of times now and have always had an amazing experience. The staff is wonderful and so is the food. The atmosphere is so inviting and I can’t begin to describe how incredible the food is. I haven’t eaten anything yet that I haven’t enjoyed. We’ve had the pleasure of speaking to the head chef/owner and he is so down to Earth and proud of the kitchen he runs. We’ve been fortunate enough to sit at the chef’s table and watch the pastry chef at work and it is artistry in motion. I can’t say enough about how much I enjoy this restaurant. I can’t wait to go back again.

This place has probably served me the best meal I have ever eaten. I ordered the Beef Cheek and it was out of this world. We also partook in several starters including the brussel sprouts and I’ll be chasing the taste of those sprouts the rest of my life. They were by far the best I’ve ever had. The services was very friendly and the cocktails were outstanding as well. Be sure to make a reservation as it looked to be a bit busy while we were there. Don’t miss out on this place!

First time back to this location since it became 63 Corks. Thursday night at 6pm reservation and we arrived during a downpour . There were a good number of customers in the restaurant, but it did not feel crowded at all. The staff was polite, prompt and had a caring attitude. The seating was comfortable and the decor was pleasing so it made for a relaxed feeling during dinner. We started with the chefs corn bread served in a hot miniature cast iron skillet with butter and jam on the side. The special on Thursday is 2 Prime rib dinners and a bottle of house wine ( wine they sell by the glass . And they have some nice wines available). My wife had her prime rib with butter and garlic, with fingerling potatoes. I had my prime rib blackened, with smoked mashed potatoes. We both had the spring salad with strawberries and goat cheese. All the food was excellent with attention to presentation and we defined flavors. We finished with cheese cake with caramel bourbon sauce and coffee. It was a wonderful meal and we will definitely be returning. Next time we will focus on some of their unique specialties.
