Brook and Britney were amazing and made wonderful suggestions! Extremely knowledgeable on the menu and was able to help us get exactly what we wanted. Absolutely coming back on a regular basis. Definitely a new go-to for breakfast! 10/10!
It appears to be a slightly upscale breakfast and lunch restaurant. We found out it was started in Colorado. The dining room was very clean and they have quite a few tables outside, on the patio as well.
I had the shrimp and grits, which was pretty amazing. It seemed like a small portion at first, but it filled me up. Great flavors and the grits were cooked perfectly. I also ordered a biscuit and it was obviously homemade but it wasn’t the best biscuit I’ve ever had.
My wife really liked the tamale Benedict. I took a bite and it was good. Just a hair too spicy for me.
Overall, I would come back, definitely to try some different items on the menu
We started by sharing the seasonal cranberry-orange scone, which was tender, not overly sweet, and had just the right balance of tart and citrus. I had the carnitas bowl, and it was outstanding flavorful, comforting, and perfectly balanced, with crispy potatoes and a beautifully cooked egg on top. My wife ordered the baked chilaquiles bowl with chicken, which was just as impressive: warm, hearty, and full of layered flavor.
The caramel latte deserves a special mention smooth, rich, and genuinely soul-warming. We finished by sharing the cinnamon swirl pancake, and it was the ideal finale: soft, fragrant, and indulgent without being too heavy.
A big shoutout to Billy, our server he was incredibly helpful, had great vibes, and brought an awesome attitude that made the whole experience even better.
Great food, excellent coffee, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to slow down and enjoy the moment. This meal will stay with us for a long time. We’ll absolutely be back.
Ordered the “Award Winning Buttermilk and Sage Sausage Gravy” with 2 eggs over easy and Hash Browns.
It was cold the day I went so decided on a hot Green Tea… surprisingly it paired quite nicely.
Overall a good experience.
