This was is beautifully crafted intimate 15 course meal. Every course was hand-crafted right before your eyes with speed and perfection i have yet to experience in any other establishment. In a quiet little “library” pulled up at a bar we were served delicious “one bite” 100% vegan dishes. The drinks, mine a lycheetini and my best friends the green goddess, were not the best or at all what we were use to and that is the only complaint I have.

It was fun to experience omakase! Very fast paced, we had 2-3 courses before we got our drinks. It’s fast, but I didn’t necessarily feel rushed (I am a fast eater to be fair). Cute atmosphere, loved watching each dish crafted in front of me, and food was good!

My biggest complaint is that they asked if we wanted sparkling or still water, we said still was fine, and they brought us out bottled water which we were charged $8 per bottle…tap water was not even offered until the end of the meal. $8 for water that I didn’t even request is outrageous! Felt like they just wanted to get extra money out of us.

I also put on the reservation that it was a birthday dinner, and absolutely nothing was done. No “Happy birthday”, no card, nothing! Disappointing.

Seating was delayed, and service was fine but nothing extraordinary. Hopefully they can improve on some of these things to make the experience better overall!

My sister took me here for my birthday dinner, and we had a great experience. I’m veg, but my sister is not, and she still appreciated trying all of the dishes. Both of our favorite was the mushroom Inari, which surprised her because she is generally a mushroom hater.

We got the 11-course option, which lasted 1 hour. Every dish was made right in front of us, and the chef explained each dish. He mentioned the menu changes seasonally, and I definitely am interested in coming back to try the new menu.

Omakaseed is also located near the theater district, and because it’s precisely timed, it’s a great dining option to do before seeing a show.

I hosted my birthday dinner at Omakaseed and it was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel celebrated and cared for. Every course was thoughtful, creative, and unlike anything I have experienced before. The flavors, presentation, and storytelling behind each dish made the entire evening feel intentional and special. Truly an incomparable experience. I cannot recommend it enough.

A truly unique vegan sushi experience leagues beyond anything I’ve experienced! Chef Cam brought us through a culinary journey which would be difficult to forget. Exciting to know the plant based bar can still be raised even in my second decace of vegan explorations. I’d highly recommend going out of your way to try it! Looking forward to coming back soon.

We had a great time during the culinary experience this past weekend during our trip to NYC. The food was delicious and so unique. Chef Cam was very detailed in his description and friendly. Our reservation was at 5pm but the restaurant was still being cleaned and prepared. We weren’t sat until 5:20pm and the rounds came rather quickly. At 6:20pm, all 15 courses were already complete and we were asked to head out by a different employee although we were mid-filling out the check. Felt a bit rushed considering we were spending $100/person and had been sat 20 mins late since the restaurant was not ready to open. Overall, a nice experience and loved tasting the food!

We were the last and the only reservation for the night. So we got a private experience from the chef. Incredible flavor combinations with all the courses. I don’t really like seaweed in general but this place made me look forward to each course with seaweed. The vibe and the drinks complemented the food well.

All vegan and nothing is made to taste like meat.

The food was tasty and had diverse flavors and textures. Not incredible “you have to try this” The chef was friendly and it was a nice, cozy seating area.
The real downer is that the this is a money machine that tries to push maximum people through: the second we set down, we were supposed to eat the first course. Done, next. After two courses, I was looking for a waiter to actually order a drink. Got my beer after 5 courses. We forgot about that throughout but were reminded at the end: 1 min after finishing the last course, the bill came and we were asked to leave because of next seating. We spent 1 hour and 10 mins here (the 15 course version). For 100 dollars plus drinks and tip, that’s just not a great experience. Give me 10 mins to arrive, read the drinks menu, get a drink, then start. And maybe give me a 10 mins after the last course to reflect on by dinner, talk with my date, and maybe propose we have a beer at the bar if we want another drink.

So yeah, would I come again? No.

Staff very welcoming, great place for dates, dinner with friends or in my case dinner with my sister. Food was amazing, every bite is an explosion of flavors and textures in your mouth, we paired our omakase with tea (great selection as well). The chef was very friendly and had a great conversation with the group.
