Very friendly staff, good food, not a long wait time. My family, myself, and newly found family members went there to eat and hang out. We had a great time getting to know each other. Cousins just met for the first time, laughing and joking waiting for their pizza, lol. That was the first time we at in, we ALWAYS order pizza from here!

Health and Sanitation Complaint – Monticello, MS Pizza Inn
Dear Pizza Inn Corporate Team,
I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding a highly concerning sanitation and customer service issue I experienced at your Monticello, MS location.
While dining at the restaurant, I observed the manager on duty engaging in multiple unsanitary practices. The manager was handling the cash register, touching doors, and moving around the restaurant without washing their hands or wearing gloves. When I politely asked for more lettuce at the salad bar, the manager became visibly frustrated stomping, mumbling, and proceeding to the salad bar without gloves.
More disturbingly, the manager grabbed the salad container with bare hands, opened the back door, walked into the freezer, retrieved a bag of lettuce, cut it open, and used his bare hands to transfer the lettuce directly into the salad container. At no point were gloves used, nor did the manager wash his hands throughout this process.
This behavior is not only unprofessional but a serious health code violation. Food safety and proper hygiene are basic expectations for any restaurant, and this experience was beyond unacceptable.

The pizza was cooked well and the customer service was excellent. The BBQ chicken pizza and a cup of house made buttermilk ranch hit the spot. Only decent place to eat in Monticello by far.

My family ate there recently, and Pizza Inn is just one of those nostalgic places for me and my husband. We enjoyed the buffet and it was super incredibly priced. Had a good salad bar, and pizzas to choose from. They came and asked us if we had any requests but we were satisfied with what was on the buffet! It’s definitely a nostalgic gem and I’m glad that Pizza Inns are still around. Hope to come back soon!

Honestly not up to par or worth the money. This pizza inn wasnt like other ones. They did take pizza request but wouldnt make certain ones for the bar. Which i disliked. The basic pizzas had mushrooms onions and olives. our requested one came out the same. My mother also mentioned it was strange when the pizza came out it to the bar it wasnt hot either. Very clean inside. Friendly staff. They did however smoke right beside the door outside and it smelt in the hall of the building upon entry and exit. Which i heavily disliked.
