King cake and mini king cake. 60 bucks. Seemed like a lot at the time. And after having the Bekerys king cake for only 34 dollars it definitely is overpriced. Wasn’t bad just not worth 50bucks. The bekery is a far better deal. ♂️

Went this morning around 7:40 and got a dozen kolaches and a dozen donuts, plus two Dr Peppers which tasted like 2 day old leftovers from a restaurant that you drink after waking up and being desperately thirsty. Everything was cold—honestly a pathetic, sad excuse for edible food—and it sucked. It was overpriced to begin with, but on top of that I was served unpleasant slop. The Dr Pepper was completely flat, and everything tasted old, all of this in the morning, mind you. Even if I were paid to eat something from here, I wouldn’t. I gave my donut holes to a friend who literally eats food off the floor, and even he refused them.

Earlier today I visited Delicious Donuts here in Lake Charles, a place I’ve supported for years because their donuts truly are good.
However, when I pulled up, the owner accused me of not paying for donuts during a previous visit. I calmly explained that it must have been someone else, but she insisted it was me. The situation felt uncomfortable and unfair, especially being told it was “someone who looked just like me.”
It was also upsetting to feel as though I was being viewed as someone who couldn’t afford to pay for something as simple as donuts. As a paying customer and someone who has even worked there in the past, that assumption felt disrespectful.
Customer service and how people are treated matter just as much as the product itself. I hope this was simply a misunderstanding, but I wanted to share my experience.

Not much to say on the atmosphere it is a small bakery. The woman taking our order was very nice.
I got two king cake ‘slices’ from here. Cream cheese && cookies & cream. The bread tasted stale and old. The cream cheese tasted extremely sour & off.
For the cookies & cream the Oreos chips on top were soggy and you can tell are old and same thing the bread was stale.
These clearly needed to be thrown away. They were not fresh but this business still wants to make a profit. I don’t recommend.

Had an amazing experience at Delicious Donuts and Bakery. We came from Texas on vacation and all we wanted was a King cake to take home and this place delivered in all aspects. Customer service was AH-MAZING and they came in clutch with their delicious options. They have so many flavors to choose from and Paula even offered to give us a naked king cake to take home and freeze to save for Fat Tuesday. 10/10 definitely recommend!

Omg! WOW! I’m from TX and pulled in to get some treats for customers and couldn’t be more impressed with the service and food! Great down home, bakery! Do yourself a favor and grab the crawfish croissants! Or grab anything! This place did not disappoint! I will make sure I stop there every time I come into town! I would leave a picture of the croissants, but we ate them all!

Came from all the way from Houston to the casinos and decided to get a beignets and this spot came up with great reviews! When the older lady came to the window to take my order, I spoke to her ” good morning.” She never responded. She took my order and asked was that it, I responded “yes.” She brought my donuts to window, I told her’ thank you and have a great day. She walked off without saying anything.

i was visiting from out of town and couldn’t find anything open, but stumbled across this little mom and pop donut shop so glad i did. the owner was there, super friendly, and everything tasted fresh and homemade. the donuts were soft, warm, and full of flavor. definitely a hidden gem in louisiana. The boudin kolache was 10/10!

For over 30 years Paula and family have made something that will keep you coming back for more even if you have to order and have it FedEx shipped to your doorstep. They have survived everything that man and nature has thrown at them and come out on top.
The customer service is one of a kind. You are greeted with a smile and taken care of as though you are sitting at the dining room table. If you are passing through or are a resident come to Delicious Donuts and get a dozen of fresh hot glazed donuts to warm your tummy and your day!
