Had a couple deli sammiches, Reuben and Ham & cheese croissant. Breads were great, meats and melted cheese, great. Loved the Reuben. Ham and cheese was very good, needed a heavier hand with the condiment. Also picked up numerous european items you cant find anywhere else. The fresh sliced to order meats and cheeses are great too.

Yesterday we ordered the muffuletta and let me tell you, this ain’t your New Orleans style. The sandwich was very large and absolutely fantastic! The meats were similar, but the dressing and bread were deliciously different.

Gourmand World Market is a real gem.
Wonderful selection of chocolates, beautifully cut cured meats, sausages, and cheeses. Everything feels thoughtfully chosen, not generic. You can tell this is a place for people who truly appreciate good food.
My personal favorite is the farmer’s cheese. I’ve never liked the watery, overly processed cottage cheese sold in most stores across the country, and I was genuinely happy to finally find real cottage cheese here — country-style, with proper texture and taste, the way it’s meant to be.
This market feels authentic, comforting, and refreshingly different from big-box grocery stores. If you care about quality and tradition, this place delivers. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Highly recommend! My wife, daughter and I had deli sandwiches here recently, they were awesome. The bread was fresh, the sandwich ingredients were all fresh and generous. Worth the short drive up from Gulf Shore in my opinion, or if you’re anywhere in the area. Interesting selection of other curated foods, wine and beer in the store. Friendly staff. Don’t miss it. As someone else said, it’s a hidden gem for sure.

This is a hidden gem! If you are looking for a small family owned international grocery/deli/bakery/coffee shop, this is it!! Make sure to try one of their lattes and a sandwich. Highly recommend.

I tried the vegetarian sandwich on NY bagel and it was really good. I’ll be curious to try other sandwiches.
However, the name of the store – World Market – is a bit misleading. Most of their merchandise will appeal to people from Eastern/ Central Europe. There is a similar Russian food store in Pensacola. In my opinion, they have more variety and better prices.
Nonetheless, I liked the store. It’s clean, well organized and the service is good.

My wife ordered the Gourmet smoked sandwich and I had the Reuben sandwich. 10/10 and my wife grew up eating in proper delis in Jersey. I ordered mine without sauerkraut.
This place has foods from all over Europe. I am not educated enough to know the difference between Ukrainian, Russian, Polish, and German foods, but it seems like they have it all. You can tell this place is legit because the patrons were mostly European and speaking their native language to the employees. Everyone was very friendly, even when I ordered no sauerkraut lol.

The baklava is amazing! They have a vegan cake and lots of east European goodies. The Cuban sandwich is full of flavor. You’ll find wine, honey, and lots of other grocery items you won’t find anywhere else! The owners are very nice.

Highly recommend stopping in for sandwiches, they cut all the meats and cheeses fresh, the bread is delicious, it can be a bit of a busy place. There are only three small seats to dine in but outside dining is available. You order and pick up at the counter. Do be prepared to wait a bit because everything is made so fresh so it does take a little longer.
