Never going back again. I should’ve read the coments, luckily I ordered just one Cemita for almost $30. California Burrito has much better deals at that price which you can eat with a family of 5 with only $33.

Cemitas here are out of this world. A real great combination of textures and flavors. The bread has a homemade feel to it and supports the sandwich nicely. The sandwich is huge. Almost enough for two people.

The food is very delicious. I’ve eaten at many Mexican restaurants in Washington and this is the most authentic. The food is pricey for its location however you get what you pay for.

I love places like this. Definitely a family affair. Solid 4 on the carne asada, with extra points for very nice avocado and cheese.

The cemita* I had here was divine. I had the milanesa de res (think beef schnitzel) that was both tender and crispy. The two cheeses used – quesillo and panela – were a dairy perfection of cream & salt; avocado added further creamy goodness, pickled jalapeños & carrots added the final punch of spicy fiber to this magnum opus on a roll.
*A regional sandwich named for its seeded roll that is also commonly piled with quesillo, a Mexican style of string cheese.

Delicious, authentic cemitas! (a specialty dish from the Puebla region of Mexico). Highly recommend. The chef is kind and friendly. An excellent lunch if you’re in the area.
