The best thing I can say is that I didn’t get sick here. 95% of offerings were meat, I’m definitely carnivore but I still like some veggies at meal time. The restaurant may have been clean, but can you ever really be sure without running lab tests? The only time I saw or heard from a waitress when she asked me what I wanted to drink and I told her water, we did not interact again until she brought my bill. Granted, I didn’t need anything from her, but it’s nice when they check in to see if everything‘s all right.
I’ll check this one off of my to do list.

Chinese buffet restaurant with decent food, but pretty run of the mill offerings. The egg drop soup was more like poached egg water, not much flavor. The honey chicken fairly tough and dried out. Spring roll was almost mush in the inside. The green beans were fresh and flavorful. Dessert offerings were fairly typical too, four quart pails of six different flavored ice creams, that appeared to have been sitting open in a freezer too long, with the single ice cream scoop sitting in an open container of water for all to use.

Went here as we found it through Google Maps. We decided to give it a shot. All I can say was the food was okay. Either the egg roll or spring roll was really bad tho. I literally could not eat it. Which sucked because I love both rolls. The low Mein was average. All the food was average. It didn’t really stand out. Would I come back? I really doubt it. It’s a long drive and the food wasn’t that good, unfortunately.

I found this restaurant to generally be as described by the last few reviewers: a super solid, tasty, small Americanized Chinese food buffet. By those standards I thought the food was really good (in particular, flavorful), the staff friendly and helpful, and the price was very affordable (<$40 for three people). I'd definitely come back!

Local mom and pop. American-Chinese owned. Very kind. They refill your drinks. Dessert. I recommend all dishes. For where you are at this is good. Kept the food coming for buffet. But not crazy fresh. Once you took all the watermelon they didn’t restock it. There’s only four pieces watermelon in there and didn’t bring any more out. No salad there. No fruit bar. No canned peaches. No pudding.

I stumbled into this restaurant after a golf game this summer and have been meaning to write a review since then.
First of all, I CANNOT recommend this place enough!
As someone who lived in China for five years and misses the food, I am always pleased when I find something authentic, fresh, and reasonably priced, and Great Dragon Buffet checks all of these boxes!
We arrived at around 14:00 (expecting the leftover scraps from the lunch buffet), and the food was not only hot, fresh, and plentiful, but they kept bringing out more dishes while we were eating!
While most Chinese buffets in the West are tailored to a Western palate, this place also offers a variety of authentic soups that I had in China, as well as spicy sauces to go with the food!
I had a lovely conversation with the waitress and chefs, who are from Fujian province, in Mandarin and told them how much I loved their restaurant!
Great price, free refills, lovely service, clean restaurant, and top-notch service! 10/10 coming back!

The buffets we have in the twin cities are overpriced. I was on a road trip back from Iowa and saw the sign from the freeway I was really hungry so I stopped and checked it out. It’s a small restaurant but for the price I thought it was really good.

I stopped by on a road trip. I was nervous after walking in, as the restaurant is small and maybe could use some updating. The food, though, was great, fresh, and some of the best buffet food.

The food was Soooo Good!
Just got off the high way to grab a bite, found this little gem hidden away. The buffet is this tiny bar about 15 ft long. At first glance it looked like a low budget option for Chinese food. We gave it a go… wow where we surprised! Every food item was made in small batches and tasted delicious. The lady at the register was super friendly and moved quickly to get us Anythjng we needed… and it was only $11.00

Worst Chinese food ever. If I could give it a zero I would. The food was super greasy and no flavor at all. Even from the pictures u can see the grease. The taste of bitting grease and it hitting your throat and then stomach is just nasty. I ordered shrimp egg foo yong and house special rice. I mean really how do u mess up fried rice. Even my kids didn’t eat there food and that never happens. Never will return again I don’t care how close this place is to the campground. I do not recommend!
