Austin is the primary bartender here, and he runs what often feels like a completely full bar by himself without missing a beat. The guy is an absolute machine. He’s efficient, attentive, and keeps things moving even when it’s packed.
The food is good, the atmosphere is solid, and overall it’s a great spot. If you catch Austin behind the bar, you’re in good hands.

I’ve tried chicken/fish/shrimp and jojo’s and I gotta say all of them are equally delicious! Great crunch/breading. Love their sauce, especially the tartar sauce with seafood options. Afforable prices- $13-15 for a big portion. You can also sub jojo’s with normal fries for extra crunch.
Lots of cool local decors (of Skykomish, US 2, Stevens Pass). Great place to hang out- has TV, pool table, and some games. Clean restrooms.
Overall, one of the best restaurants in the area. We’ve come back many times and love their food every time!

We stopped by Whistle Point with friends while we were in town for a weekend trip, and it ended up being one of the highlights. The food was fantastic, and the atmosphere has that perfect blend of classy dive bar charm with tons of local and historical memorabilia that gives it real character.
With TVs, a pool table, and a laid-back vibe, it’s an ideal spot to catch a game or just unwind with friends. The drinks were excellent, the staff was incredibly friendly, and everything felt welcoming from the moment we walked in.
Overall, a great experience. A true hole-in-the-wall gem for a small-town pub.

Stopped in for a bite to eat after a big day of hiking. Glad to find a place open a bit later out here that we were able to eat at after a sunset hike.
Friendly service, casual bar atmosphere, and the food was pretty good. Blown away by the size of my bowl of chili (for a $5 side?! Way bigger than more expensive “cups” I have gotten at other places) and it even came with chips!

We stopped here twice on our way back from Stevens. Good vibes, excellent fries (with incredible Cajun mayo dipping sauce), and so reasonably priced. A fun way to break up the drive home from the hill.

If I get to Monroe, it’s Whistling Post Saloon for food. Friendly staff, friendly customers. Good liquor selection. Best tartar sauce! You should have it on everything. Very decent side salad. Chicken & jojos every time; just can’t break the habit.

Quirky little spot in a postage stamp town. Friendly proprietors, cozy atmosphere and good food! The half chicken was super yum! The fish sandwich was really good, though it was a put it together yourself kinda deal. The Jo-jos were a bit flaccid and wanted some seasoning but they were good with some ketchup and tartar. Also great beer selection!Would definitely come back to chill and get that chicken again!

Lived in Sky for a summer and occasionally would waddle into this place for some fried food and a beer. Always seemed super chill, good food, great beer. Next time I’m over the 2 I’ll stop again.

The service was a bit slow, but the food made up for it. While the chicken in the burger was slightly overcooked, everything else was excellent. Everything was reasonably priced.

Had take out so I can’t really provide a lot of information about the saloon. However, I can say the Fried chicken was awesome, if you are in the area and hungry for some fried chicken you have to stop and give it a try. Super nice people.
