My favorite go to for comfort food! I always get take away here, because it’s close to home. The chef KNOWS how to make my favorite Cantonese: Wot Tan Or ( probably I spelled wrong) but it’s Shrimp Chow Fun with runny egg gravy mmm so comforting delicate flavor. Also when I ask for mixed veg. KNOWS how to make al dente so they’re nice and crisp just perfect when I get home with the food. Even heated the leftovers and are not overcooked! So GOOD!! ❤️

My favorite place for Cantonese comfort food! I live in the Bay Area but always try to visit when we pass through the area – it’s that good!

Tried: pan-fried pomfret fish was decent; the wonton was ok, broth was plain, pig feet was good, porride was good but the intestines tasted off. Reasonable price, decent service, and interior. The restaurant has a few reserved parking spots out front, which is nice.

Been eating here for the last year or so. Small Chinese restaurant with reasonable prices and nice food. Free tea and food is well seasoned and prepared quickly. Personal favorites are the salt and pepper fish, egg plant clay pot, and fish maw soup. Staff are typically friendly

Modest medium sized Chinese restaurant with great flavors. I have been going regularly for the past year and the cooking is very consistent. This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in town. My favorite dish is the Salt Pepper Filet Sole. It is on the family style menu, not the a la carte menu, but ask for it and they will make it. Trust me you will not be disappointed. It’s so good. Crisp on the outside; moist, tender and flavorful on the inside. I also recommend their Peking spare ribs, honey walnut shrimp, sweet and sour chicken, broccoli beef, and beef chow fun, and spare ribs with salt and pepper. Parking can be a little difficult at busy times, but you can park along Freeport or in the neighborhood near by.

very traditional Chinese styles cooking and is good. Unfortunately, too much MSG making my mouth dry instantly. The service ladies are very rude, annoying, and super loud when talking with fellow coworkers, and totally unprofessional. Not recommend this to anyone.

Yessssszsss! Ordered these two entrées in the photos, they were sooolll good! Huge portions and the beef bone was really soft and juicy. I love the tofu that comes with the beef stew and the veggies inside. Friendly customer service and clean environment. I will definitely come back here again for more food. Highly recommended this place for Chinese food

Jade Foundation Cafe is a restaurant known by almost all Chinese in Sacramento. They are one of the best wonton noodle soup restaurants. They are famous for their wontons and dumplings with or without the noodles. The beef stew and pig feet are also my favorite dishes there too. They also have many yummy Chinese dishes, and porridge is also available. The service is fast and attentive.

I bought the Hot/Sour soup to go. The woman who helped me was unfriendly and rude. The soup had very little flavor and the tofu was mushy like it had been sitting in the broth too long. I won’t be returning ever.

Good food and service. There’s plenty of items we haven’t tried yet. We usually go for our favorites (Singapore noodles, chow fun, general chicken, green beans, Fujian fried rice, etc.). Old style restaurant decor, no frills but clean.
