Stopped by for lunch — the place was pretty quiet, just a couple of people when I got there, and by the time I finished, I was the only one left. I actually liked how calm it was. The sushi was pretty good and the salad was nice too. The miso soup though… a bit too salty and kind of sweet, which wasn’t really my thing.

I loved the food! I would absolutely come here again. Their food is very high quality, they provided wonderful service, and its a very nice environment. I would recommend to anyone who loves sushi!

Fantastic little sushi gem in town!
Fresh rolls, great flavors, and super friendly service. It’s small, cozy, and never disappoints. Perfect spot for a quick sushi fix or a relaxed meal. After all the years, we still Highly recommend!

This is now the 3rd time I’ve came to pickup a delivery order and it was extremely late. The other times it was crowded inside, so it made a little bit of sense, but this time their restaurant was pretty dead. I asked the owner/worker how much longer, and the only response I got was “not ready”.. I asked again for a time, and was ignored. That has happened multiple times now. Takeout and delivery orders are horribly managed. And the staff is 0 help. Terrible customer service.

We just moved to Elmhurst and have been on the hunt for our new go-to spots. First attempt to find our new favorite sushi we went to Sushi Nest, and the search is over. We shared a big Kirin, crab Rangoon (HUGE AND PERFECT!), then had an assortment of rolls: Hawaii, king crab, Boston, Kua Cha Kua Cha, Negi-Hamachi and tamago. We brought leftovers home!! Service was attentive but not cloying, and the menu had some standard faves and some super inventive things too. When you leave a restaurant stuffed but also talking about what you’re getting next time, that’s a win. Oh! And it was like $80 before tip. Absolutely lovely place, can’t wait to go back!!

The best sushi in Elmhurst. Sushi Nest always delivers with fresh quality and careful preparation. Their care in making every roll shines through with every order and the service is always impeccable. We’ve had other local sushi and there is absolutely no comparison.
Can’t miss combo: Spicy Tuna Roll, Gyoza, Pepper Shrimp (amazing), Pink Lady Roll, Godzilla Roll, Miso Soup. Thank me later!

Another great meal from this talented team. I have been going to Sushi Nest for over 15 years and they never let us down. I love taking my son (now 10) and getting the flaming sushi and some of the other beautiful presentations that have great taste to match.

Hands down the best Sushi my wife and I have had. We order or dine there regularly and never disappointed. We have tried many sushi places and while many are good this place stands out.

This place used to be my favorite sushi place, but since then prices have gone way up and the quality has gone way down. I have to spend a lot more money for sushi that’s only about half as good and honestly doesn’t taste very fresh. Not worth it anymore. The staff also used to be nice, but lately have been rude and dismissive.

This is supposed to be a upscale sushi restaurant. They have been around for MANY years. Thing is their soups are from dehydrated packets. Sad. Their maki rolls are small. Their “chefs” are ill trained. They make so many mistakes! My Spicy roll looked like something my cat did in his box THEN smacked it on the wall. NOTHING like Ni Hao 2 blocks south. THey are amazing
