Had a pleasant dinner at Bangla Pride. Service was good, friendly waiters. Food was fresh and hot. The spring roll in the Bangla bites was a bit spicy but that’s personal taste only.
Restaurant was clean and had modern decor. Nice touches with flowers on the tables. The chairs were a bit too heavy to move easily.

Not been to Bangla Pride for a long time and I was so disappointed as menu was changed and all the famous seafood dishes were gone, no more scallops, sea bass, mussels, now only king prawns and salmon available, salmon is not really a good choice to use in curry as it ruins the fish texture and overcooks it!!! Overall dishes are not as tasty as before, believe it’s under new management.
Atmosphere was not as good as before, although staff was very polite and professional but it didn’t feel like a local friendly place anymore. Service was excellent tho.

Before Covid, my dear friend & I went Bangla Pride all the time, and we call it The Best curry as it’s a superb place, food is the yummiest, friendly staff, great atmosphere, place is clean, some free street parkings outside the place.

Update: we have used Bangla Pride many times before but this time was completely different, we dined in last night, we were just a table of 2 and we sat next to a light that just kept switching on and off repeatedly, we asked to move and they obliged. A table of 12 people walked in, and they rushed to move tables and chairs to accommodate them. They forgot our drinks, so we had to ask again for them 20 minutes later because every staff member was serving these 12 people. Food was delicious, but we had to sit and wait for half an hour or for the bill after asking for it. I ended up going to the bar, and they gave me the bill with a drink I didn’t order on it. We won’t be returning in a hurry.
