We enjoyed the small town atmosphere. The huge menu was rich with family style recipes that gave the restaurant a homey and comfortable feel. It was clean and unpretentious and the food was filling without being heavy. They were fairly busy but Jennifer, our waitress, was attentive and patient in spite of the fact that she was the only waitstaff there. She brought everything we asked for and kept our drinks full. She was friendly and kind. The food is very reasonably priced. It’s nice to know that you can get a hot homestyle meal in a tiny town between Limon and Lamar.

Today was my first time here, my husband comes often when he comes into town for feed. We are an hour away so we were quite hungry..lol we were not disappointed. The food was good and the service was great, jennifer was a server and she gave it a home like feel. We even had friendly conversation with the locals. I definitely will be back

Service was great. Food was great. Prices were great. Hubby had Grilled Cheese French Dip. I had the Short Horn – open-faced burger smothered in green chili. We’d never had anything like it, either one of us, and it was… great!

I have never been and I was looking forward to eating with my family cause I heard such good things. We ordered and everything was well we got drinks and waited right? So we waited a hour afterwards just to get our food and the waitresses seemed to occupied with their phones and what’s going on mostly with drama. Everyone super friendly and the food was amazing I definitely reccomend! Just it took so long for our food when it was a simple smash burger which should’ve been quick, that my mama had to pack up everything and couldn’t get to eat. Idk if we came at bad time but everyone who came after us or same time waited just as long and wasn’t to busy. I would give them 6/10 because of service a bit and care in food.
Again food a 10/10 diner experience home feel.

Ever see a tiny cafe in an out-of-the-way place in a movie where the locals come to eat a delicious meal, and wish you could enjoy such an experience? This is that place. It’s not a high-end establishment, and we aren’t talking about a Michelin star experience, but rather a down home experience that you’ll enjoy as though a family member made it. The kids are treated as kids, the adults as adults, and everyone feels at home here. We had a steak, a couple of kids dishes, and I had the sliced roast beef with mashed potatoes and gravy. I kinda wish I had ordered a steak like my wife did, because the temperature was spot on, the meat tender, and the best flavor I’ve had in a long while. I also had a bowl of chili. Chunky, flavorful, and enjoyed by everyone at the table. Even the little things you take for granted, were wonderful, such as the fresh baked (and hot) rolls. The only thing that I wished was different, was the amount of food served. It is the amount you should be eating, but it is so good that you’ll wish there was more of it. Well, order seconds! There were a few of the locals in there when we were there, and they began speaking with us. I’m originally from East Texas where conversations with strangers is not strange at all, so this was a very warm, welcoming occurrence. My family and I will stop in each time we pass through the area from now on.

It might look like the typical roadside diner, but quality and portion size of the food is anything but typical. I ordered the hamburger steak. It came with a side salad. I’ve if the better side salads I’ve ever had. Lots of dressing selections, cake with onions, tomatoes and plenty of cheese. My hamburger steak was huge. I am a big guy and I couldn’t finish half of my plate. Everything has a great flavor. The service was superb and staff were super friendly. I will be stopping back in if I ever pass that way again.

Nice little place with very good tradicional American food and sober all the same food cost you everywhere 30 dollars there is going to be around 15 and that is the half so props only thing is it gets over corded sometimes and there is juts only one girl to help everybody she is quick Ann very nice but is overwhelmed with Clients and the kitchen as well so if you are a truck driver like myself time is going to be a problem Becuse for sure you are going to stay one hours plus there.
