Change review from 5 stars to 1 star. We loved your place.. started bringing more people with us. But the new chips are terrible! I would gladly pay more for the old chips. The food has been hit or miss lately too. Sadly we won’t be coming back anymore because the chips and salsa were the best part.
Small mom and pop owned and the owners are great. They remember our drink preferences. We prefer this place over some big fancy restaurant because to us it’s about the food. The chips and salsa are the BEST in Kankakee county! The food always has tons of flavor and extremely reasonable prices. We hope that never changes.

Food was really good, we liked the diversity of the specials. Value and prices are pleasantly surprising.
Service was good, but a bit slow with only 2-3 tables occupied at dinner time. Los Dos Puebla doesn’t appear to have AC –not good during the hottest week of the year with spicy entrees.
We liked the idea of their “togo” margaritas, but as others here have said, they could /should be better. I would have rated 4+ stars except for the AC and margaritas.

The food is great, the restaurant is small. They do charge a dollar for extra chips for the table. The drinks are ok. I have had better margaritas.

Ok Mexican restaurant, minimum staff for the location and attentiveness was not a priority. Food was just so so as well. I will not be returning. Building and location was in need of repair especially the restroom, not clean at all.

Overall the place is dirty, and unorganized. The two waitresses didn’t have much of an idea of what was going on. Our group of five, plus the two other tables of two really seemed to overwhelm them. The food was very mediocre. My friend wanted a steak chimichanga, he was told they didn’t offer one with steak, only beef. All that is, is a deep fried burrito. If it were made fresh, there is no reason it couldn’t be made with steak. After he got it, it was much smaller then a regular burrito, and said it tasted frozen! What a joke! I got the Birria Tacos, they were sadly flavorless. My friends and I will not be back.

Chicken tacos tastes Amazing! It’s actually got some Seasoning to it. and my prego belly loved it. 2nd time coming here was today…1st day I got my food to go as well,and ate that chicken taco n said (“Oh Yea I gotta go back there and get More”)
