Loved the decor food was amazing (still thinking about it days later!) And our server Theresa was amazing and we’ll knowledge on the menu the history of the restaurant and all around an amazing asset for this restaurant!
Will be back!!
I ordered the salmon, and for $26, the portion was shockingly small. The sides (mashed potatoes and spinach) were generous, but the salmon itself looked like half a serving. I honestly had to double-check that nothing was missing.
I also ordered a soda for $5. It arrived in a very small cup, mostly ice. I understand soda pricing or “soda tax,” but when dining in you get a much larger cup with refills. If delivery sodas are going to be this small, it might be better not to offer them at all—or at least use a larger cup.
I’ve always enjoyed eating here in person, so I hope this was just a one-off, but the delivery experience didn’t match the quality I’m used to.
The garlic bread had no garlic flavor whatsoever and tasted like it was just stale bread drenched in oil. It also had a faint beef/meat flavor as if the garlic bread was cooked next to it. The complimentary bread was dry and flavorless.
The ravioli zucca had an overpowering herb flavor that made it difficult to eat. The penne alfredo that comes with the chicken/veal parmesan had little sauce on it and was essentially plain pasta with a little bit of butter. The breading on the veal was very soggy – veal or chicken parmesan breading should be crispy when served. The dressing included with the Caesar salad did not taste like it contained anchovies and had burnt croutons. All the food was very underseasoned.
EDIT: The way the restaurant responds to all critical reviews tells you how much they don’t value your patronage!
My friend order a pizza .a glass of wine from Argentina ( the wine was the best ) cold bread .
90 dollars for nothing.
The chef who works here or the cook must travel to Italy and taste the quality of food in Lafayette.
2 servers .bussy day.customers love to spend money in food without quality.thisis the way they learned to eat anything.
I will not recommend this place I rather Little Maggiannos.that the Italian spirit in colorado.
I can cook better .
I could t finish the lasagna was the worst lasa6i ever tried.i put this left overs and took it home my kid told me the same momy you cook better the lasagna is disgusting and the pizza is like a cardboard.the children ever liey kid travel 10 countries already .she is 12 years old and she can cook better than this trattoria.its very obvious this biz care about money only not qualified for our level of taste.im glad they are busy at lunch this give me a lot of hope when I’m opening my kitchen .if people is happy with this level of food I can’t wait to openy own restaurant to teach people how to eat healthy and with high sublime high quality of Italian food .
Americans deserve to eat better .
I understand why it’s overweight and diabetes and so many allergies in USA .the lack of quality in preparation of fresh food.in Italy the pizza tastes much better . probably the flour probably the culture probably in USA everything is frozen .this restaurant is not for me or my kid this restaurant is for customers who never had better before and probably they never travel to Europe or southamerica where our good has better quality and taste . another waste of money for 2 people 90 $ and go home hungry * no desert not desire to keep trying a desert .ah I order an expreso for 6 dollars no sugar not lemoncello .I like it dark but when you are a server you need to offer lemoncello and sugar for the coffee.seever refill the wine glass .please hot bread .in Italy the bread must be hot no exception.
