My adult son was at the hospital around the corner from this place and I needed dinner, so I ran over to place an order to take home with me. It had been a stressful day and since they decided to keep him overnight, I needed comfort food – sushi!
The atmosphere at 7pm on a Monday was calm and quiet.
I sat at the bar to order. There were no tables occupied nearby, only further back, near the sushi bar. It took a few minutes for someone to stop visiting and come over to take my order. She was pleasant enough and smiled when I asked ‘Are to-go drinks still a thing or was that just during covid’? She answered ‘We can definitely get you a drink to go’. I did have to ask her to wrap it up – I didn’t want to get pulled over with what they may consider an open container!
Veronica offered sushi suggestions since I was hesitating, which I appreciated. I ordered the Philly $13, the Spider $12 and a cucumber martini $12 to wash it down. The prices are reasonable and average – and the quality of the sushi justifies it.
The service isn’t awesome. It seems unless you know the server, you are pretty invisible and that is the problem with many neighborhood places, they try so hard to keep the locals happy that they forget the passersby.
Overall, I enjoyed my meal, the food traveled well and the prices are reasonable.

Yogi bear…sushi…nope nope just yogis sushi. Hey!!! Get it right!!!! Me and my friend TJC went to grab some dinnner and this joint. Oh wow!! This is pretty yummy!!!! Our server seemed a little shy, hey! That’s okay!!! No hatin on my boy!!! He done his best and that’s what matters. We don’t know what the noddles are made of but I know there chicken.

So I got the Dallas cowboy role and I did get a soup the food was amazing but I did not like the fact that the waiter took a tip from my money without asking not knowing that I was going to let her keep the whole thing but she took it up for herself to take money from my money so there’s no need for me to tip her I don’t think that I will come back to this location due to the waiter

Yogi’s Sushi Bar is an East Dallas neighborhood staple for my wife and I. Anytime we are craving incredibly fresh sushi, we come here for their creatively crafted rolls and food. The tuna tataki is a great shareable dish we order every single time. Some of the latest favs are the Slider Roll, Big Time Roll, Santiago Special Roll or the KC Roll to change up the texture and style. This place is fantastic and they are always consistent.

Although we waited around a bit (maybe 5-8mins) the food was fresh and really good! I think maybe they were understaffed the day we went and it was a little busy so we didn’t mind too much.

Food was really delicious, we got the rainbow roll, philadalphia roll and tuna sashimi along with spring rolls and spicy edemame. We came around 3pm. It was quiet and i had the bartender as my server. Even tho she had multiple customers she did really well being attentive to our table. I would definelty come again and try more items. Thanks.

Friends took me here last week for a bday dinner. It was great! Our waitress could’ve had a little more personality but we got everything we needed so I’m not gonna hold that against them. I had the Dallas Stars roll because I’m a huge fan, and hey, it was free.
I heard they have all you can eat sometimes. Wouldn’t mind going back for that!

First sushi/sports bar I’ve ever been to. Killing it at both. The vibe at the bar is fun and lively, and the sushi is top-notch.
The happy hour specials are great. Margaritas were delicious and not too sweet. Riceless rolls were excellent. Will be back.

Great family dining with plenty of options. Had a fun experience with great appetizers (edamame and sushi tower), teriyaki chicken and a sushi main course. They were so friendly with our two small kids and even made a fun orange animal for them.
