Your favorite 50’s style family restaurant has moved to Kihei! Following the devastating fires of August 8 2023, Cool Cat Cafe was uncertain of our future. Our iconic Front Street Lahaina location was a once in a lifetime spot and we feel honored to have spent 21 years serving visitors and locals, that soon became family. We are fortunate to have found a home away from home here in Kihei and are excited to welcome you all back. There is still only one best burger on Maui and we are here to stay! This place was such a pleasant surprise for us while in Keihi! We had visited two other places before settling for Cool Cat and were glad we settled!! The BEST service, such great server(s) with delicious recommendations. We ended up going back the next night too, we loved it so much. Try the sweet potato fries and any of the burgers! We had four of them over the two visits and loved them. My daughter loved the Rockin’ Robin sandwich as well. Can’t go wrong here!

What a cool place! Atmosphere was terrific, retro 50s vibe. As a GenX, I appreciated the 80s music. We had hamburgers with french fries, onion rings, and sweet potato fries. For dessert, milk shake & root beer floats. All were pretty yummy.
Cons… I asked for well done and received medium well. Not a deal breaker, but ew. Also, while the fries and rings were crunchy, they lacked any punch of flavor. The floats could’ve used another scoop of ice cream.
Pros… the hamburgers had a good flavor and well balanced with toppings. The milk shake was fantastic! And, we had a good time with the arcade games.

Great diner atmosphere serving solid diner food options. We had the chicken tenders, calamari, fries, Duke burger, onion rings, and loaded baker. Everything was excellent! Calamari was the larger, less-tough version and it was very good. Burger was excellent. Onion rings, chicken tenders, and fries were perfectly crispy. Baker was just right with the perfect amount of toppings. Highly recommend.

The food is tasty with standard American diner dishes and ice cream deserts. The loats and shakes are delicious and filling.
There are plenty of booths and tables. Counter and full bar seating is available. The tables are spaced well so guests are not squeezed in next to each other.
For guests look for souvenirs, there’s a little shop near the front door.
There is plenty of parking directly in front of the restaurant.

Made a special trip to Kehei from Kaanapali area to visit CCC at in its new location since we loved the one in Lahaina.
Husband had burger Bowl, I had chili cheese dog both were excellent & generous portions. Only negative was husband’s french fries were Stone Cold and when it was mentioned she shrugged and walked away. He didn’t care so was still generous with tip. I couldn’t eat a cold fry for all the tea in England. Hostess, food delivered, rest of our waitresses attention was great! Easy parking too.

Wife always gets a Betty boop, her favorite sandwich on Maui!
I always get the monthly burger special. This months- the bowl was weird to think about! But trust me, it’s delicious!
Shakes are always 1000% must get! Can’t go wrong with any of them!

Delicious root beer floats, great fries and onion rings, burgers were alright, I didn’t think they were particularly special for the price. Service was so friendly and quick!
The music was just AWFUL. They had a live band that was way too loud for how average they were I usually loooove live music but it honestly was hard to sit through!
I’d still recommend for the 50’s diner experience and for “classic American” food on the island.

Cutely decorated restaurant. Service was great. My meal was mehhh. However, others in my party really enjoyed their sandwiches.
I love fish, especially fish tacos. My mother and I split their fish tacos and their burger of the month but with fish instead of a burger patty. The fish tacos were boring and dry. The sandwich was a bit better but still not spectacular.
The sweet potato fries dipped in ranch were delicious. The Hula Sticks as an appetizer were delicious and my favorite part of the meal.

We had a family birthday. They were amazingly accommodating. They took threat care of us and made the party fun. They have a little arcade with pinball and Mrs pack man and other games. Was a very good time. (They need tastier ketchup though!)
