Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I was taking a load to Mississippi with my wife. We love Whataburger, but what made this one different was the atmosphere. EVERYONE was kind. No one seemed hurried or stressed. The restaurant was super clean. My wife said the women’s bathroom was super clean ( that’s saying something coming from my wife). The food was better than that of the Whataburgers we go to back home. Excellent.

Whataburger has been hit or miss for me when it comes to service. The drive thru is always slow, and when I dined in, it took about 10 minutes before anyone even came to the counter to take our order. The self ordering machine was broken. The food took a while to come out, and my order was wrong. The guy who helped us seemed like he did not want to be there. On a positive note, the dining area and bathrooms were both very clean.

Clean restaurant and food was good. They do need to work on promptly acknowledging the customer. We could see employees walking past around the back and waited about 5 minutes for someone to assist us. After receiving our food decided to order another drink, but no one came to the counter. Finally ordered at kiosk & an employee coming in handed us the cup but with his hand inside the cup. That is totally unhygienic & unacceptable! Please work on your employees.

Drive thru… I have no complaints, the staff was very nice and had 2 of them helping each other to make sure I had everything I needed in my order! GREAT TEAMWORK! Drive thru was speedy.

The wait was long, and the biggest issue was communication. I ordered a #1, and no one mentioned they were out of buns. I didn’t find out until I opened the bag down the road and saw my burger was on toast. I honestly thought I was given the wrong sandwich and had to come back to ask.

I ordered a head in the app when I got here my food wasn’t ready, which wasn’t a big deal until I watched four cars who ordered at the window get their food before Did.then they only gave me half my order and brought one piece at a time after that. And the staff had an Attitude about it.

My only complaints are the long wait times when going through the drive through and the price of their food. My son loves eating there and I enjoy eating there as well…I could eat their fries and be content lol.
