From humble beginnings, Palermo’s began as a simple pizza shop on 63rd St. in Chicago of 1961. Palermo’s got its start from the first generation of our Sicilian family with one key idea in mind: to make a better pizza. Combining their old world recipes with modern trends, Palermo’s quickly gained a reputation for outstanding service and pizza. Our unique sweet sauce used in our pizza is a highly guarded family secret. Our family continues to make the sauce, sausage, dough and cheese blends by hand themselves, ensuring its quality remains at our high standards.

First off I love Palermo’s. Since covid a lot of pizza tastes like dish soap, Palermo’s does not. So it’s worth the 40minute drive when I’m craving pizza. I am disappointed to come home and see that both of my pizzas are burnt. Not worth the hassle of driving back to get a new pizza. Do better.

We have been a Palermo’s fan for a long time. I sorry to admit that we have tried others, and they just do not compare as the competition is more expensive for less food, and there pizza is just not as good as Palermo’s. The paper thin pizza with a semi sweet sauce is always perfectly cooked with plenty of ingredients spread evenly so you can enjoy every bite. I don’t know about you but the triangle cuts are my go-to’s as soon as I open the box. The appetizers are well priced and you get so much more that their competitors. Salads are plentiful and fresh. The rest of the menu does not disappoint. Sign up for their rewards and you will get deep discounts, we typically get a free pizza a year, but it all depends on how frequent and how much you order.

In comparison to the other Palermo’s; 4.25 stars Orland, 4.75 Oak Lawn, 5* 63rd. In comparison to Orland area pizzeria’s, this one of the better ones. Sauce is sweet like other Palermo’s, but the sausage is missing something, it is good, but not Oak Lawn good. I will come back.

My bestfriends fam used to get this pizza from Oak Lawn, so I decided to grab some since there’s one in Orland now. It is as good as I remember. The ingredients were fresh, pizza was hot and it was SO saucey without having to order extra. Just how I like it!! Will definitely be getting pizza again and a plus because it is so close now!

This was hands down the most egregious negative experience I’ve ever had with a food establishment. First time ordering takeout from them, we ordered a pizza and breaded mushrooms.
They handed us the pizza with the bag of mushrooms sitting on top of it, so we left it like that until we got home. Upon unwrapping, we find an incredibly greasy pizza with the cheese literally fused to the paper bag. 2/3 of the pizza was inedible. Mushrooms were also inedible as they were dry and burnt like they’d been fried several times.
We called to complain, and all they offered was either they remake the pizza and we have to go back out to get it, or 50% credit. Unbelievable to charge us any money for this travesty of a meal. Would absolutely not recommend and will never be back.
EDIT: I’ve just learned we haven’t even been offered 50% off our order, it’s a coupon for 50% off our NEXT purchase. I don’t even know what to say.
EDIT TO BUSINESS’ REPLY: If they actually cared about making it right, they would’ve refunded the order when asked. They have done nothing.

I ordered a Medium Stuffed Sausage, Galic and Spinach Pizza. It arrived earlier than expected. Hot, fresh, intact and it was absolutely delicious! My only complaint is the price. It cost me nearly $50 with 20% tip, yeesh!

The pizza was delicious! We got the paper thin crust for the first time. I was concerned it wouldn’t hold up but it was crispy and held up and tasted great

For the people saying “this is not the same Palermo’s on 95th st or 63rd” those two are not even owned by the same person either. The owner of 63rd owns another location in Frankfort, not oak lawn. Oak lawn is a whole other Palermo’s, same as this one is their own Palermo’s. So their reviews? Unimportant.
Anyways, this pizza is awesome! Best in the area. If you like sweet sauce this is the place! 63rd Palermo’s is my favorite pizza place (95th st sucks). When I moved out here I wanted to find the closest I could to 63rd and this is it! Love love love their pizza!

Palemo’s in Orland Hills is awesome. I love the sweet sauce! They have every type of pizza. I love the paper thin, cut in small pieces. I’m there when it comes right out of the oven and then I’m the one standing in the parking lot eating it out of the box! I

Now normally I’m a very understanding person. And a Friday night calling at 4 for a pizza. Yeah I already know it might be at least an hour before I see my pizza. Which he that’s what thy told me. It will be about an hour. Well around 5:30 I call asking hey guys is my pizza still on the way or what’s up? The response was we are a little behind it should be there shortly. Alright. Well 5:50 when I called back to request a refund I was told I wouldn’t be able to keep the pizza. I told her well seeing you are almost 2 hours late on delivering the pizza I’m not sure I’d want the cold pizza at this point.
No effort to resolve the situation or say we are sorry we can do this or that for you. Nope nothing. Just that they are behind.. mmmm no 20 mins 30 mins is behind. Not an hour. Also we are talking a 10 minute drive so. I don’t know. Guess we will try another spot. All this for an extra thin pizza at $40 .. naa
