Went with a party of 5 for a birthday dinner. Service, ambiance, and dessert were great. I got the lamb chops and would not recommend, grizzly and lacking a good flavor profile. Our party also had the halibut which was overcooked and came out a bit dry and tough rather than the flaky goodness we were hoping for. Our group also had a couple steaks, the filet and bistro chateau, which were both well executed and enjoyable. The salmon rounded out our choices and it was a tad overcooked for our preference but a solid dish. The chocolate dessert was delicious! Overall a fun time, just left us wanting for more consistency across the menu offerings. Suggest sticking to the steaks and salmon based on our experience.

My partner and I celebrated our 5 yr anniversary here! When we got to our table we had a nice card that greeted us and wished us a happy anniversary! I thought that was very sweet and thoughtful! I love the atmosphere in the place. Very nice and intimate! The food was amazing and our service was outstanding! Highly recommend the crab cakes they were delicious! Thank you so much for showing us such a great time on our anniversary!

Exceptional dining experience. We are so excited to have a restaurant such as this in the Okemos/EL area. The food was delicious – the appetizers, craft cocktails, our main dish & dessert, they delivered. Our server, Taylor, was very kind and attentive. The size of restaurant is very small, but we enjoyed the intimate & jazzy ambiance it provided because of it. We look forward to returning.

We were a group of 9 people and we had dinner on a Friday night at prime time. It was our first time at D’Nufflos and it definitely won’t be our last. The restaurant is well located to campus, an easy walk or a short drive with ample parking, and it has a surprisingly nice atmosphere hidden behind another breakfast/lunch restaurant. Our service was excellent. We had two servers who dealt with the needs of a large party exceptionally. And, all of our meals were great from the crusty warm bread served with olive oil and balsamic vinegar to the salads and the steaks which were cooked to perfection. We also had the mahi mahi and the chicken entrees which were delicious. I can’t recommend D’Nufflos enough and a big thank you D’Nufflos for a wonderful evening!!

Our first visit to D’Nulffos…we had a delicious dinner and our server, Abby, was lovely. We did crab cakes (yum), lamb pops, salad, a filet, wine and dessert. My only criticism would be price. At these prices the food should be absolutely at the top of the game and a bit more creative.

my parent’s for their anniversary dinner. Based on their feedback, I made a good choice!
I live out of state so I did have to contact them over the phone to arrange for payment of my parents’ bill. The people I spoke with were more than accommodating and friendly during the exchange. It ended up being a very quick and easy interaction.
My parents said the food was delicious, one had steak and the other seafood. They also noted their server was great – making sure their drinks were always full and regularly checking in on them. My dad has really enjoyed the fancy steak restaurants I’ve taken him to in Atlanta and said this place ranked right there with them. He even talked about going back there in the future, and given his high standards that says something. Sounds like this place is a great new addition to the area.

Ordered the scallops and they did not disappoint! 5 beautifully cooked scallops shouldn’t be a unicorn but sadly in lansing that has been the case. Thank you D’Nulffos for breaking the norm. Others in my party were quite pleased with their meals as well (seafood risotto & filet) Service was excellent. Only knock is the close proximity of the tables, but even that becomes irrelevant when dining on this wonderfully prepared food.

We went here for our anniversary, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. They surprised us with a beautiful card, complimentary champagne, and an incredible meal. Our waitress, Taylor, was absolutely wonderful. Taylor was so friendly, attentive, and made the evening feel extra special.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone celebrating a special occasion, whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, or just a night out. The food was outstanding, and the service made the experience unforgettable!

Excellent. 10/10 for everything we ordered. I ordered the seafood risotto. They don’t skimp on the seafood. Lobster, crab, scallops and shrimp. Hubby got the bistro chateau cooked medium rare and it was perfect. So tender and flavorful.

The server Taylor was very rude and elitist! The service was alright but towards the end she judged me for not having a “decent” tip for her in cash without even looking at the tips the rest of the table left. My friends all paid with card and ensured that she was well tipped for me. She then decided to grimace at us and refuse my friend his leftovers until we asked for them. When we were leaving I decided to ask her if she was able to get her tip because I noticed her mood and genuinely thought we made a mistake. She then proceeded to roll her eyes and tell me to just leave the restaurant and that what I said “was not funny at all”. In confusion, I reexplained the situation to her and she kept telling me to leave and being very dismissive towards me. After a little back in forth I just left the restaurant. It’s disgusting how your server at this restaurant will refuse you service and treat you badly if they feel the tip is not to their liking. Even though she got a decent tip on card. Do better Taylor.
