I love Thai food !! Can we agree all Thai food is not the best, but this one is a winner. The curry puffs with their signature sauce – chefs kiss. We had the Panang curry , Street Train Fried rice, and Krawpow Kai Doi. Delicious all around.

Love everything about this place! Food is very good and price is reasonable. My favorites would be the tom yum soup and drunken rice with crispy tofu. Love it! Go to place for thai food. Highly recommend.

Bangkok Garden is a nice, cozy and chill Thai resto that is really easy to miss as its not located on the main street.

The food is cheap and above all it tastes excellent. For the price, its really hard to beat Bangkok Garden’s quality in the area. Some pics attached.

Pro tip –
This is a place where you would want to go for your takeouts or if you just feel like eating out in your Pajamas 😉

Took my little cousins to get some Thai food- they usually only eat pizza and nuggets but they had a delicious time!! The curry puff is a must for all my appetizer heads

Good for the area! I like how you can order most of their dishes with optional crispy chicken.

I was surprised at the quality of the dishes. All of the dishes were decent and actually authentic tasting unlike most DMV spots I have tried. All of the dishes were super flavorful and none were too overpowering (too salty, too sweet, etc.). I wasn’t disappointed with any of the dishes I had. Feels good to also support a small business.

A fantastic lunch spot or for quick to-go meals. Better than most Thai spots I have tried in the area.

Bangkok Restaurant was a great dining experience. The food was excellent—full of flavor and perfectly cooked. Everything had a bit of heat, but in the best way, adding to the authenticity rather than overpowering the dishes. I highly recommend the Kaprow Beef, which was bold, savory, and packed with flavor, as well as the Pad Thai, which was well-balanced and incredibly satisfying. Portions were generous, ingredients tasted fresh, and the overall quality really stood out. If you enjoy flavorful Thai food with just the right kick, this place is definitely worth visiting.

The noodles here are the star, super wide and very chewy. Unfortunately we didn’t really get to try the best dishes with that combination.

The duck noodles reminded us of a more Cantonese style dish. Skip the Gang Som Cha Oom (Thai Style Sour Curry with fried eggs infused with Acacia Leaves, and Shrimp), it was rather basic and watery.

Definitely coming back to try one of the other noodle dishes.

The service was fast and cordial. The atmosphere was casual.

The service was friendly, but the food was very disappointing. We ordered the train-style fried rice, fried duck rice, and the curry pastry as an appetizer. Both rice dishes were mushy—the fried rice had a texture more like mashed rice than properly fried grains. The fried duck was bland and contained large, fatty portions with very little flavor. The curry pastry was mostly filled with potatoes, and I could barely find any chicken at all—it felt more like chicken paste than actual pieces.

When I would like to have Authentic or local street Thai food, they are one of the Thai Restaurants that pop up on my list. I had visited Bangkok Garden in Wintergreen Plaza, Rockville, MD a few times in the past. Their menu is quite interesting and different from another standard Thai restaurant around my area. The flavor pretty close to real Thai dish. However, after I haven’t been there for a while, I went back to the restaurant recently, food is still in good level but isn’t as great as before. I hope they can keep their quality more consistency.

Other than that; the decoration and atmosphere is quite casual like mostly restaurants in Thailand, dining room doesn’t has a lot of tables. Service is ok. Value (price and portion) seem a little pricey. Location is convenient – plenty free parking spots.

I was planning to order Thai food and came across this place on DoorDash. I’d never tried it before, but decided to give it a shot. I ordered the drunken noodles at a Thai spice level, and after just one bite, I was blown away. The portion size was generous and the quality was excellent. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and not overdone. There were a few raw tomato pieces on top, which I’m not sure are traditional, but aside from that, I’m really glad I discovered this spot. I’ll definitely be trying more dishes from here!
