This place used to be one of our favorites but I’m not sure if it changed management or owners or what and it is not the same any more unfortunately. Chicken is dry and not fresh usually and service is horrible. Everyone including the shift manager had an attitude.
They have these crispy corn that comes as a side with Ceviche. My baby daughter loves it and asks for it every time. Apparently it only comes as a side of Ceviche and not sold separately. I told the manager I’d pay whatever she wants for a small side of them and she refused to sell it. Is it me or is it normal for a restaurant to have a side item but not sell it unless you buy a certain main course?

I’ve been a loyal Don Pollo customer for years, but the Briggs Chaney location has been a real disappointment lately. The chicken, which used to be flavorful and juicy, has been coming out very dry, completely lacking the moist texture Don Pollo is known for.
On top of that, the customer service is terrible. The lady working at the register is not engaging at all and has a very bad attitude. It feels like you’re bothering her just by ordering food.
It’s frustrating because I’ve always loved Don Pollo, but this location clearly doesn’t live up to the brand’s standards. I really hope management takes notice and makes some changes soon.

Came for lunch for the first time and ordered chicken chicharrons with yuca and a soda. Good price for the amount of food. I’ll be taking the rest home for dinner. DELICIOUS.

I went in for some lunch today around 11-12pm and the food was so good, The half chicken was so flavorful and crispy, I also got a side of chaufa rice on the side and it was also delicious. The girl that took my order was really friendly and nice she was so polite and friendly as soon as I walked in, this will definitely be my go to spot now.

i wish i could put zero stars !! i usually come to this location pretty often , considering i live in the briggs chaney area , but today i had an issue . the sign says if your order is under $10 , you cannot use a credit card , which i understand .. i was trying to use a gift card & the cashier told me that i couldn’t . i told her that this was a gift card & she said that the sign applies to all cards . i told her that i never carry cash , so i only have my debit & gift card & she shrugged her shoulders , laughed , & walked away . this was super rude !! i asked her if i could speak to a manager to explain that i just bought a meal yesterday & needed more sauce but she walked away from me while i was speaking . just plain disrespectful . i had to ask another employee to get the manager . after i spoke to the manager about the entire situation , she was very nonchalant & didn’t care about what i had went through . as a loyal customer , i feel as if the employees & management should not have treated me this way & i will never go back !

I had one of their specials and it was amazing. The chicken was so moist and tender that it came off the bone with just a fork. The gravy was perfect. The portions were enough for 2 people. I would eat there every day if I could.

I love Don Pollo period. I like all their locations. Never disappointed.
The only thing is I noticed that they have different sides from some of the other locations. Bethesda and Gaithersburg are the best. Both have extra side options. Otherwise everything else is consistent, especially their chicken which is the most important part!
The portions are good.
Prices are reasonable.
They aren’t shiesty with the sauces like some other establishments are.
Service is good and always quick.

Drove 40 minutes after work to try the food. Upon arrival, I asked for the restroom key as I needed to go bad. Was directed to a sign that says restroom for customers only and was denied access. Food smelled good but I cannot say how it is.
