What happened? The food use to be so good here. The ribs and chicken I ordered to day were both extremely dry and tough. And judging by the texture of the meat, had to be old. Is it even still grilled on the grill because it didn’t taste like it. Also there was what looked like an already eaten wing in my platter. Seriously disappointed!

I only came because they sent me the “we miss you” email. 2 orders of rib tips and they were super tough! I asked the young lady if they could avoid putting the XL pieces in my box and if they couldn’t avoid it… I would order something else… she went in the back and came out and said everything was all good… I get home and my husband opens the box to the biggest of pieces… smh… the sauce is good and that’s about it… I won’t be back…

Food was mediocre at best. I ordered their shredded chicken sandwich because they were out of pulled. Pork didn’t really taste like anything was dry. My bond was so soggy and tasted like chemical chemicals. The staff were super rude not friendly at all acted more like we were inconvenience rather than helping us. The fries were soggy. There was no cheese on them. The ribs were kind of dry not that good for $40 for fries, Half slaband a sandwich.

Haven’t been in awhile so I wanted a taste of some deliciousness TUH big disappointment. I ordered 20 wings 10 with sauce 10 without. When I say they are so overcooked I couldn’t even indulge. Tried calling no answer. It’ll be awhile before I give them one last try only because this was my first time I’ve been dissatisfied with my purchase.

Baked beans was about half a cup and nothing special to it. The ribs definitely won’t make us come back….. nothing special. Long wait to order and lady was not cheerful. Wanted to try this place for a long time and disappointed.

Takeout spot with counter seating available. I tried the pulled pork sandwich lack of seasoning. The potato salad was delicious but was less 1/4 cup in a 1/2 cup container . The Mexican corn was only available in a bowl but was delicious . Probably will give them another try but they do need to fill up containers for the sides.

I drive by daily and thought I would try it . I got 2 boxes on the 2 good to go app . I waited around 20 min . I don’t know what they gave me but it went strait in the trash . Not sure how you get customers this way . Only 1 item in the box and it didn’t resemble food that I know .
I def got played . On that order . I specifically remember the guy trying to put sides in the bag and she was like no and tied it and then gave it to me . It wasn’t like they tried . I simply got played because I did a too good to order. That wasn’t top of the line anything . You should try full rack BBQ on Mack . Night and day difference quality and service .

Gave this place two stars just for the lemonade. Which is the only thing that’s good here. This was my third time trying food from here. The food is bland with BBQ sauce on it. The ribs were burnt when I ordered them for my mom awhile back. The $6 peach cobbler was the last straw for me. It’s super thin and taste like peach jam in the middle. The contains are small enough to fill them up for $6. For the people who like them. The texture and size wasn’t it for me.

On Friday 2/27/26 I went in to Kens and ordered, rib tips, mexican corn, strawberry lemonade and peach cobbler. Fast forward to Saturday I’m very sick with diarrhea and vomiting!!! I cant keep anything down, and I’m having sharp pains in my stomach. This was my second time going to Ken’s. The first time it was good but after this time I’ll NEVER go back….EVER!!!
Update: 3/2/26 I am still sick with diarrhea, vomiting, stomach cramping. So I know for sure I have food poisoning.
Update and reply to Kens bbq: I actually did go to the hospital and received a proper diagnosis! I also called the health department while I was there! Thanks and do better!

After parking in the rear, I walked by the smoker, lustfully inhaling the wonderful smells emanating from it. Somehow my stomach got a whiff. Then I walked inside and the scents of barbecue sauce mixed with that delightful smoke and other smells.
Since it was Wednesday and that’s $1 whole wing day, I ordered a half dozen spicy and made it a combo with fries and a drink.
The wings were delicious, the sauce tasty, spicy enough to feel a bit of heat without being overpowering to the weaker ones. Not tomato based, it was more like a thin syrup than a traditional BBQ sauce. Great for dipping the fries into. The fries could’ve used a bit more time in the fryer, though.
The only real downside is there are but six stools at the counter so eating in may be difficult. Most of the business is carry-out.
I love a family run business and I’d go back tomorrow if I’m nearby.
