Kenosha fired up for re-opening of Andy’s Drive-In
Reviews
K-town is definitely full of surprises and oodles of good eats and Andy’s is definitely one of those places. In this city, I’ve heard it’s a 3-way battle of the drive-in burgers; Andy’s, The Spot and BIG⭐️ 6 months outta the year.
After trying the food here which is really good overall, my synopsis is that the burgers here are really good and a worthy opponent against the other 2 with all different tastes. Rootbeer is also awesome!
Been to The Spot the most being they’re open late and everyday of the year except for some major holidays. BIG⭐️ nowhere near as much and this place may be difficult to get around to being I noticed their hours are currently 11a-4p 5 days a week.
I certainly plan on stopping in again soon being I’m in the Keno/Pleasant Prairie area at least once a week. Hope for continued success & prosperity for the owner(s).
Clean and inviting atmosphere, good service and good food. Menu style is mostly ala-carte so you can manage your dining expenses! Really like that!
Burger was excellent! Fried mushrooms were on a little bit of the watery side, but could be normal from the deep frying. Will come again!
Foodstuff: The root beer was aaamazing. The cheese fries were very crisp and a little sweet, which was unusual but very good! The fish sandwich comes actually *loaded* with toppings. Crisp lettuce, fresh slices of tomato, melty cheese, the tartar sauce was great too! The fish itself was perfectly crispy
Service: Super friendly! Honest in suggestions, even came by and topped off the root beer!
I’ll be returning for sure!
There’s “regulars” who upon entering they have coffee. The customers greet each other when they enter the door. It appears family oriented. This was my first time ever eating anything from Andy’s. The sausage, egg, and cheese muffin was freshly cooked and tasted good. My eggs were perfectly cooked. There was a cute little girl who announced “there’s another customer!” She appeared to be 4 years old and adorable. That was the employee’s daughter who took my order. I hope to see her on my next visit. This just made my list of “places to eat in Kenosha”.
