We went during Happy Hour 3pm-5pm
We had drinks (margarita and another I can’t remember) fried oysters and okra. I ate all the oysters. The okra and oysters were seasoned to perfection. Then we ordered dinner. The short rib was tender, and the mashed potatoes were good. The collard greens had a different taste. I ate two bites. They weren’t bad, just different.

One of the top 10 worst dining experiences. My wife and I work in the service industry and are extremely understanding. There was no host. The cook/chef (whoever it was) was taking orders along with one server, GM, and bartender. It took 10 minutes for someone to come to the host stand. Then another 20 to order drinks. As we watched there was two tables that had complained. We stayed because there was not many other options on a Sunday. We ordered everything at once (appetizer, mains, drinks). Drinks came without straws, we asked for an extra plate that we never got. Asked for more bread to no avail. They told us they had a large party and were understaffed, we were very understanding. Eventually our food came. For a $55 ribeye it was cold and tasteless. The broccolini was under cooked and hard. The “trio hummus” was all the same flavor and bland. This was so, so, bad. The serving staff tried to apologize without us even complaining. They knew. There was zero urgency. Horrible, horrible.

We were here for a 10-party birthday party. We loved the inside decor, the bartenders/servers were great, and they accommodated the birthday cake well. The bad thing is that the table ordered 4 hamburgers all at different temperatures: medium, medium well, and well done but after a lengthy wait all the hamburgers came out hockey puck well done. Another complaint at the table was that the portions of the food they received didn’t reflect the price they paid, a small piece of salmon and a small bowl of grits.

This restaurant is a part of the Elyton Autograph Hotel. The food was really good. I had the short ribs which were tender and flavorful, the grits were perfect, and the collard greens were great! I enjoyed every bite. My husband had the burger and fries. I tried this and it was juicy and flavorful.
Cocktails were great too! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall a wonderful dinner

This restaurant is located inside of the Elyton Hotel. We visited this restaurant for a birthday brunch and the food was amazing. I am not always a fan of breakfast potatoes but these were gone within minutes of them hitting the table. Everything was cooked to perfection I really have nothing bad to say. The grits were a great consistency, which I appreciate! The only complaint I have is that I didn’t order more food. I will definitely be back to try more dishes.

We ate here for Father’s Day. Very laid back atmosphere. Our waiter, Terrence, was very friendly and entertaining. He did his best to overcome several issues we had. All in all a very nice dining experience.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND
My fiancé took me here for one of our date nights and it was amazing. The atmosphere, setting, location and overall experience was exceptional. The menu options are vast (it’s never the same so I appreciate that), and their drink menu is vast as well. Our food was delicious as well as our dessert. Our waitress was real attentive and informative. We are returning when we have the time.

My boyfriend and I came here while we were in Birmingham and we both give it a 5 stars. The overall experience was fantastic. It was quiet, the service was great, and the food was even better. We started off with chicken wings but forgot to snap a picture before we devoured them. They were the perfectly balance of sweet and spicy. For our entrees I had the Chicken Picatta, and my boyfriend got the Braised Beef Short Rib. Both were excellent and neither of us left anything on our plates. And for dessert we were talked into trying the Plum Cobbler and let me just say, that was probably the best cobbler I’ve ever had and I’m from southern Georgia lol. We nearly forgot to get a picture of the dessert before we started eating it so the picture is minus a few spoonfuls. We were very pleased and impressed with everything so if and when we go back to Birmingham this will definitely be our new go to!

5 Stars for presentation, 5 Stars for service. But the food was not season at all. I don’t mind dishing out $250 for two to eat dinner, but I want my food to be tasty.
There were a few notable things that were good, the brussel sprouts and the mashed potatoes but overall not worth it.
We went on Valentine’s day, no candle or romantic music. They did have two guys on guitars playing Tom Petty?
We will never be back.
