Pizza is horrible and the crust is like apple pie crust. Barbecue sauce is all over the pizza and it’s like barbecue pie instead of pizza. Veggie are like hair and can’t even see it. Crust is under cook, so soft and can’t even hold it. First time and last trying this pizza. I didn’t even eat it and through it in the trash.

The food there was amazing. When I went there, I got a pizza and an order of mozzarella sticks. The food was cooked perfectly and had great quality. The customer service there was great. I would give this restaurant a 5-star rating. I recommend everyone to try Bill’s Pizzeria in Newtown. This is my new favorite pizza place!!!

Always had a good experience here until tonight. Ordered an eggplant pizza for takeout and it was close to inedible. Tasteless, undercooked crust with barely any eggplant, just a few measly pieces per slice. Made cafeteria pizza look appetizing. Huge disappointment.

My family and I have been ordering from Bill’s since I was a kid, and it was usually delicious. I have not ordered from them in about a year as I moved, but as I’m back visiting the area I decided to order as I missed their Bianco pizza. Unfortunately their quality has certainly changed since then. I ordered one large pizza and a side of onion rings. My pizza arrived uncut, which was incredibly frustrating as I have arthritis and cutting it myself took quite some time. The crust was obviously not rolled out well, as one side was much thicker and the other I could see my fingers through. There was hardly any of my topping (bacon) on it. The onion rings were extremely overcooked, to the point that the breading was hard as a rock and the onion had disintegrated inside. Surprised that they would even send it to me considering they were so inedible. Extremely disappointing as I had been looking forward to having Bill’s again, and I will not be ordering from them again.

We went in for a quick slice of pizza but it was late and they didn’t have any slices ready. We were in a hurry and they made up a small pizza for us as quickly as they could and were super gracious and generous. First time at Bills and definitely a return customer.

It has been brought to my attention that Bill’s has new owners. I calles in and the phone rang at least 9 times then I hung up and they called me back. When I got there, they had about 7 people just standing around behind the counter so why didn’t they answer my call??? ♀️That being said, I ordered a roast beef grinder and I have to say it is the worst I have ever had, (I’m 67) The meat was cut so thick, about 1/2 in thick and it was so tuff I couldn’t chew it. I had to throw most of it away. I won’t be eating at Bills again. Used to be my favorite pizza and grinder place.

I grew up as a diehard lover of Bill’s pizza in Newton. In a visit to my hometown, I can only describe my experience as disappointing. Perhaps my perspective is skewed, like an adult returning to Disney world, or a boomer watching the new Star Wars movies. Or perhaps, the grown-up realization that Jessica Rabbit is not a real person. Nonetheless, I’m sad to say I would look elsewhere if good pizza and sandwiches are what you seek in the 2020s. Edible and non-toxic, but it’s time to move on!

The ambiance is old school, but the pizza tasted okay, I was disappointed by the toppings. Regardless of special mention to the staff the toppings were not of great quality or quantity. I will give it a 3.5/5.
