I hope this new ownership can get their crap together before they have to end up closing their doors. So disappointed, you had a party of 37 people tonight, and we have all talked amongst ourselves that we will definitely not be back. The steak pictured was supposed to be medium, this is definitely not medium. All of the steaks our party of 37 have gotten looked like this. Very rubbery hard to chew. I paid $35 dollars for this….

We stopped in for lunch with our niece, nephew and their two year old doughter. Everything was wonderful. Quick service, delish food and drinks. The owners came out to talk to us and to all of the tables! Great to see owners so involved in their guest experience! They are new to the supper club scene and they say they are learning more every day. We will be back with family and friends. I can’t wait to see what they will do as they grow in this business! Give this place a try, you won’t regret it.

I wish I didn’t have to write this because my friends/family & I LOVED going here. It’s close to home, the environment was warm, and the staff was great; but over the last few months things have changed very quickly for the worse.
Last Friday was our final straw. We’ve been trying the new ownership now for 3-4 times, each time we’ve said “we’ll give them more time to sort it out” but its clear nothing is really getting better for Dinner time.
We arrived and it was moderately busy, but nothing too crazy. Bartender was nice and drinks were strong. However, from order inquiry to actual seating was way longer than normal. Once we were sat, I was given the wrong soup/salad. We disregarded it and moved on because we were starving.
We tried the bread and the bread was bad. Stale, stiff, and I want to assume it was a form of pita bread but it tasted like leftover bread that was accidentally left out. No part of it felt or tasted fresh.
It took 40 minutes or so to actually receive our food once we were sat and over a 1hr 50m period of time past between order and food being delivered and IT WAS BAD.
The steak & shrimp I ordered were on a skillet that was room temperature. The steak was medium well (i ordered Medium Rare), and the shrimp weren’t hot, just luke warm. My friends also received dishes at various temperatures well below a “recently cooked” temperature.
It was the first time I had ever left a restaurant without having more than one bite and choosing to leave which is really bad because I used to love this place. I want the new owners to succeed and I want this restaurant to win, but there is visible difference in food quality, food speed, types of food sold, and an indirect feeling that some of the food is “left over” from other ventures or demand from another place. For the price, this is absolutely no longer the place it once was.
I’ll try it again in a year; maybe, but right now it’s not worth it.

We went here regularly about 5-6 years ago and haven’t been back due to logistics.
Four of us went there last night and it was horrible. Nonchalant hostess made us wait in a hallway and we finally had to ask when we would be seated. The menu is NOT supper club food. Mostly sandwiches. We got gyros and three that did had what we eventually called “ onion gyros “. No meat, soggy bread. The fourth person had chicken, mediocre. Our drinks were watery and slightly acrid. We wanted, despite all this, ice cream drinks. They were out. Out of Spotted cow. Bartender didn’t seem to care.
We will never go back. Very disappointed in what was once a REAL supper club.
*I see the owner responds to negative reviews and makes excuses for any critique.
My suggestion: apologize, offer cocktail coupons, comp meals if you get complaints or bust your butt fixing these things. And get new bartenders.

Had a good Friday fish fry at the Heiting Place. It was a decent price for two pieces of fried haddock, and they only charged $4 for an extra one. They use breading rather than beer batter. The pieces were thick like cod and held together well. It’s the type of supper club where you start out sitting at the bar, so that adds considerable time. Everyone was friendly, though.

Wow! What a horrible experience! We have been to the Heiting Place many times, & didn’t realize it was under new ownership. We were seated at 5:40 for out 5:30 reservation. It took 25 minutes to get our salads. During the hour and a half we spent at our table, we were never offered drinks. We gave up on ever getting our food, and left without eating after waiting 1.5 hours for our food. The restaurant wasn’t overly busy- half of the tables were empty. Nearby diners were experiencing the same lack of service and long wait for their food. We won’t return.

I went with a group of 7 on Wednesday night, we didn’t have a reservation. It was busy and we were told at least 45 minutes, there was only 1 server for the evening and another large party ahead of us. We were ok with waiting, the drinks were reasonable, bartenders were friendly. I ordered steak and scallops combo, I upgraded to a ribeye ($8 up charge). The table had a nice relish tray waiting for us, dinner came with soup or salad, fresh bread. My scallops were small but very tasty, steak was done perfectly, delicious-$32. I was very happy with my dinner, I would go back.

A classic supper club with 30 plus years of history serving great food and drinks. We Had the broasted chicken and it was very good. There’s decent seating in the bar area while you wait for a table and it has 2 dinning rooms.
Plenty of room to park.

The last 3 times we there rib eyes ,the steaks went down hill size wise, taste and were over cooked since the new management took over. Friday we were there for scallops. I’ve never had scallops so burnt and over cooked. Anywhere else. My family will never go there for food again.

I had such high hopes for this place as it is so close to my home. Started out amazing. The French onion soup was in point! Then I got a warm bloody Mary made from off the shelf tomato juice and vodka…. nothing else. Vodka wasn’t even mixed in. Twice baked potato was next. A bland mix of mashed potatoes and bacon in an aluminum tin. Was maybe ¼ cup. Next was a 32.00 steak. It was ok..i asked for medium rare and got rare. All in all… it was mediocre. For the price I paid, I would not come back.
