Found this place accidentally and so glad we did! Great atmosphere, very clean and lots of TV screens. Our waitress was lovely, so friendly and service was quick. The battered shrimp was amazing, not greasy and fries were awesome! Hubby enjoyed the wings, the kids loved the fish tank! If we’re in TC again we would definitely go again!

Oh my- I cannot say enough good things about Holly at Thirsty Fish!!! We were out for girls weekend and she was absolutely amazing. She was informative, extremely personable, and very knowledgeable about her craft. Best lemon drops I have ever had. Thirsty is super lucky to have her on their team— a true asset!!! We were there on Sunday, October 10 and wanted to try it out, we hadn’t been there since it was State Street Grille. The new owners did a great job with the interior, it is brighter and cleaner. The place was busy but we found a table (no host/seat yourself) and our server was awesome. She and one other server were working the entire place, they were hustling! Fish tacos were excellent, Ketel One Bloody Mary was really good. We will definitely be back, this place is great for watching football or any sports. Plenty of TV’s and good mix of locals that are very friendly.

We spent three plus hours on the outdoor patio last night at Thirsty Fish and due to our server, Holly, enjoyed a fantastic time. She was very attentive and had a great sense of humor. All the food (onion rings superb) was tasty. Listened to Jay Hawkins Band and they put on a terrific performance. Fantastic laid back atmosphere, too! Thanks, Thirsty Fish!

My girlfriend & I walked in and sat down (per the “seat yourself” sign) to eat & 3 different staff members walked past us NUMEROUS times and blatenly ignored us, from 9:28pm til 9:45pm (17 mins). A group of younger kids walked in & sat at the bar & the bartender told THEM, it was last call. We decided to leave. Horrible business etiquette. We def won’t be back. – RICK DIAMOND

I got the chicken tender basket the fries where delicious the tenders where disappointing think they where frozen also a little burnt for $18 i wouldnt recommend, calamari wasn’t terrible also wasnt great probably won’t be back for food but it would be a fun place to drink on a busy night.

Will never go back. I’ve lived in town for a few years now and never have eaten here- now I know why. Crispy chicken basket. $18. FOR TYSON CHICKEN TENDERS. I was absolutely shocked. Picture shows how small they are (finger for reference)- they have the texture of frozen tenders & you can taste it. Says it comes with coleslaw- had to ask for it & the bartender CHECKED the menu to make sure I wasn’t lying. It was absolutely DISGUSTING anyways. Like plain cabbage. NEVER given silverware, napkins and the bartender almost forgot to put our order in. Go to Brady’s or U&I for better bar food.

The service was good and atmosphere was good. Good band. Unfortunately, our food was overpriced for what we got. $11 for small plate onion rings was a bit much. The spicy margarita was not spicy and did not have a chipotle pepper rim nor jalapeño slice as advertised. Our group of 7 got our food at different times. It was a 20 minute difference from first person to last. It would not have been so disappointing had that waitress apologized or addressed the reason for the delay.
