Hands down some of the best noodles in Champaign – springy noodles in flavorful broth, plus tasty sides like cucumber salad, lamb skewers, and crispy pork belly crepe. Always a hearty and satisfying meal.

Great food, very fresh, friendly service. Clean, comfy atmosphere for very small groups. Loved the roasted pork over rice, squid skewers, and dumplings. Personally, I didn’t like the cold gizzards. I prefer them breaded and warm.
Food was super fast!!
$47 for 2 with appetizers, drinks, tip.

All the noodles I have tried here are very good.

I have been to this restaurant twice. First, I got the tomato egg dry noodle, which was very sweet but had a nice savory complement. The second time I went I had the spicy beef soup. It was so spicy I couldn’t eat much of it, but I have low spice tolerance. I personally don’t like their noodles, I think they’re a little soggy and I prefer chewier noodles, but overall good restaurant and nice atmosphere for a quick meal with friends.

I recommend getting the bowls over the dumplings here. The amount of food they gave was extremely good for the price and the pork melted nicely.

Easily one of the best local places to eat on Green St. and Champaign as a whole. I always try to stop by here when I’m in town because there’s nothing like it anywhere by me. Service is always quick and friendly. Food is always flavorful and made to order. I highly recommend the Szechuan Beef Noodle Soup, it has a bold beefy flavor profile combined with the nice firm texture of the noodles and numbing spice.

We tried the reasonable priced appetizers. All tasted ok. Will have to try their noodles next.
*Potato shredded was not spicy enough.
*Beef was not bad but not flavorful enough.
*Squid was good fresh per my sis
*Lamb skewers were large enough for the $3 price point each but not seasoned enough.

Surprisingly good noodle soups on campus! We stayed near the campus for a week. We ate at more than 10 restaurants. This is the best and the only one that we visited twice. We tried several different noodle soups. All are excellent. Appetizers are also good.

I’m really fond of this restaurant. We ordered the Szechuan Style Beef noodles with the scallion pancake appetizer and it was delicious and filling. The customer service and the atmosphere was also great. We’re looking forward to eating at this restaurant more in the future.

I love their Schachman-style beef noodles and I get them every time. The one time I ordered something different, I got the Beef Consommé noodles, and proceeded to have an MSG headache for the rest of the day. (I’m sensitive to MSG and I have experienced this issue before with other restaurants) But I love their noodles, and the broth is always flavorful.
