I’ve been coming to Comal Street Tacos for the past two months, and their al pastor tacos have absolutely won me over. They do this incredible thing where they marinate the pork and then give it a little extra time on the grill to blacken and char it just right. That little bit of char adds this amazing depth of flavor to the al pastor, and when you add a squeeze of lime and a bit of green salsa, it’s just out of this world.
Tonight, I had the option to go somewhere closer to home, but I drove a bit further just to come here because it’s become my favorite taco spot.
If you’re into that perfect combo of charred, marinated pork and fresh toppings, you’ve got to give it a try.

My latest favorite taco place! The tacos are fantastic; best street tacos I’ve had in a while. They were perfect. The green chicken enchiladas are also great. Very tasty rice and beans. The place is cute. Service is always quick and friendly.

Such a hidden gem! First time trying and definitely won’t be the last. I had langue and my husband had Barbacoa. Both were made perfectly and delicious!! The flan was absolutely my favorite though, perfect flan made so creamy! Definitely needs a spotlight for how good their food is.

Yes!!!!Really good I could eat there everyday I think it’s a new owner then the last so definitely different recipes. The ones I got are called pastor tacos. The kids meal has a juice pouch and a lot of fluffy fries. My son ordered the corn dog and was satisfied. We went before closing and everything was hot and fresh and Fast!!! Muy biene tacos y god bless this place. I’ve been passing by and finally went in. Seems slow like it’s not good but it’s the opposite there should be a line down the street :)))milanesa chicken torta great and the hamika drink.

$12 for a plate of 3 small birria tacos that did not come with any sides is not a good value. They charge $1.50 for a small one ounce container of sour cream and want to charge for extra hot sauce. There are other restaurants that offer a better value with better food.

This is my new spot for tacos. So good and the meat was so flavorful. I had 6 — 2 al pastor, 2 pollo, 2 chorizo. The chorizo was my favorite.
My wife who seasons food like she is Kobe throwing one grain of salt from a distance said immediately this is a great taco on the brisket one. So I would recommend that one as well.
Can’t wait to come back and try the tortas.

Delicious food! I got tacos de pastor and asada. Best tacos ive had in a while really remind me of the tacos i used to enjoy in my mexican hometown! Lots of meat and yummy soft corn Tortillas. The red and green salsa is spot on, not too spicy the perfect little kick. Tried the Quesadilla too and the cheese was perfectly melted and super flavorful !! And the prices are super affordable! 10/10 Cute chill shop and very kind workers. We will be back!

This is hispanic street food at it’s absolute peak. You could not get better flavor or prices if you went to Mexico City. It is authentic, fairly priced, and tasty. If you don’t try it you are missing out.
