Hands down the biggest and best hand patted cheeseburger I have ever had. I might just have to drive 2 1/2 hours to get one again soon. Super nice staff and quick service. Say hello to Thor when you go there.

This place was amazing. Everything was prepared to order so your food was hot and fresh. Everything was super tasty and the burger patty is huge. Bacon was reportedly really good too. If you are skeptical, definitely give them a try. You wont be disappointed

Cute small down home burger joint! My husband and I work mostly in White Pine and decided to give it a try and loved it so much we came back for lunch the next day. Food is hot and delicious, staff is very nice and make you feel at home.

For such a quaint little restaurant, the food is delicious.
We typically order chicken tenders and always get their homemade fries. The fries are a staple that everyone should try. They have a very reasonably priced menu with plenty to choose from.
The staff is always super friendly and helpful.

Let me start by saying I love little family owned establishments, being a small business owner myself, I understand how much the support of the community matters. Recently, we’ve been working in the Morristown/Baneberry area and had been wanting to give Burger Barn a shot. The food is priced amazing! Normally, small business are a little bit more expensive so I was surprised. I ordered a Philly with onion rings $8.25 or so and we also ordered a Chicken ring with homestyle fries, I believe was $7.75 or so. The meat didn’t have much flavor, I could mostly just taste the cheese and green peppers, maybe oil or whatever they use on the grill, as my bun was very wet. The onion rings were good. The chicken Philly was okay, not much flavor overall, I think if they just added some dash of seasoning it would really help. I would have left a higher rating but the owner or maybe the manager was a little rude, and customer service really matters. We went to use some of the ketchup from the bottle on the table, it smelt almost like fermented, when we tasted it, it also had a fermented flavor. We brought it up front to just make them aware that we both thought it tasted off. She proceeded to say “It’s fine I filled it up this morning.” The lady STUCK HER FIGNER IN THE BOTTLE, tasted it and said “it taste like ketchup.” In a very condescending way. We went to sit down to just finish our food, the couple next to us gave us their bottle and it tasted much better, then the lady brought over some ketchup packets then set the bottle she stuck her finger in, in the table beside us. Gross…. I wouldn’t have had a problem over it, if the lady wasn’t rude and then stuck her finger in it, placing it back for customers to use. I would have liked to give them another shot, the prices are very reasonable and the food isn’t bad, maybe the Philly just weren’t for us. Based on the name and the reviews the burgers should be really good.

The best philly cheesesteak sandwich I have had in a very long time! Awesome atmosphere created by the staff. Good people and great food. We will definitely be back to enjoy it all again.

If y’all haven’t tried this place then it’s a must have. Some say that a good burger is juicy, flavorful, and has a good ratio of meat to toppings: well that’s exactly what you will experience at The Burger Barn. I ordered a sauteed mushroom, onion Swiss burger and it was perfection. Thick patty, huge burger. Bite into bliss y’all

Got the mushroom burger today. Have to say there food isn’t the same anymore. First I asked for the price for burger and a side of fried mushrooms the total cost was over 17$ which is crazy and that was without a drink. I have never paid 17$ for there burger and fried mushrooms, so I just went with the fries. There was only a few mushrooms on my mushroom Swiss burger and the burger was very dried out. I had to add ketchup to my burger which I never do and the bun was very wet 🙁 unfortunately I have had better burgers at McDonald’s. Not sure if I’ll go back again

Burgers are 1/2 lb. So they take longer to cook. It’s approximately 20 minutes. Nice place to relax. If ya’ll are in a hurry, you can call ahead and order. The dining area is small but cozy. The Jalapeño Burgers are good. Jalapeños are put on top, so if it gets to be too much, you can take some off. Nice variety of choices. They also have daily specials.

If you happen to be in rural East TN and you’re looking for a good lunch stop, I would highly recommend Burger Barn. It’s a quaint little restaurant about 10 minutes away from interstate 81 exits 4 or 8. Depending on the time of day, you may run into a crowd, so if you’re in a rush, you might try another time. However, if you are willing to wait, you will get a taste of one of the best burgers around this neck of the woods. Although other options on the menu are tasty in their own right, you’ve got to give the classic all American a try. A standard burger build with an abundance of flavor and quality ingredients, cooked to perfection. Try it with a side of golden brown crinkle cut fries, if they’re anything like mine, prepared with just the right touch of seasoning. Couple that meal with affordability and consistent friendly service and you’ve got yourself a nice lunch outing. This has been a travelduck review. Quack.
